  • Except that minority is bigger than you think. Everyone in my family is the way I am, show me a family of people that are allergic to water? Besides, you completely missed my point, I wasnt saying it was universally bad, in fact I said the opposite, its fine for some people, like yourself and my boyfriend and his family.…
  • You are just as silly for the comment you just made. Not logical at all. "Appeal to Extremes (also known as: reductio ad absurdum [misuse of], slippery slope fallacy [form of]) Description: Erroneously attempting to make a reasonable argument into an absurd one, by taking the argument to the extremes."…
  • AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  • Completely agree! Im pretty sick of being told Im an idiot for not eating carbs! Everyone has their own way of doing it and I have no problem with you eating cake if it works for you :flowerforyou:
  • Besides the fact that they make some people blow up like a balloon? Not everyone needs to do this, but personally I cant have these things in my diet because I will not lose an ounce eating them. Even if I strictly count calories. I've done it, counting and being balanced with my diet for years, and I've never been as thin…
  • If you make an apple crumble with no extra sugar in the filling, just use already sweet apples, then top with oatmeal, nuts, and a tiny bit of honey and butter- it will be significantly fewer calories than a traditional pie. I dont have a recipe because I just eye-ball and taste test this, but you can use a traditional…
  • This happens to me now and it never used to, I love it too..It still catches me by surprise sometimes and Im look around like "who, mua?" It wasn't my goal, my goal is ripped which by definition means thin but I don't mind the comments. To me though, they usually say "You are so tiny!" because I'm also only 5ft…
  • Why are you counting the sugar? Are you worried about insulin spikes? If so, all carbs are essentially sugar to your body and I would count those instead. Fruit is a better source of sugar than other things though, if you really like them.
  • Try just cubing eggplant or zucchini and then put it in your favorite meat sauce recipe. Skip the noodles, the veggies are enough! I love it, so easy and low carb/cal! Add plenty parmesan, its pretty low cal and high flavor for a cheese :-)
  • If you really want it, make it fit into you calorie goals. I would say wine is a better choice than other alcohols for the other health benefits it has. Personally, I was borne thirty. When I started college I actually dreaded socializing because I'd rather read a book! I do however, enjoy my wine. I allow myself 1 a day,…
  • Staying under 100 works for me. Not everyone will agree, you'll probably get a million different answers on whether its "bad" or not. Find out what works for you. If you want to stay under in carbs, but need more cals, add fat. Avocado, olive oil, cheese, et cetra. Watch the dairy though, its not carb free, just low…
  • I saw that..it made me very sad. I actually was never able to lose weight when I was depressed. It was only after I felt better on the inside that I wanted to feel better and look better physically. I hope he doe it again, and I hope he does it right. He seems like a really nice guy.
  • lol! I have a home gym and I did that the other day but my boyfriend was on the opposite end of the house! I ended up having to scream at him to help me get it off:laugh:
  • Panache sports bra...one of the only ones caries my size: they're not so big really, pretty average but I just have a small ribcage. I really like it, I also tried the wacoal which I loved before I shrunk out of their band sizes.
  • I've never done it but my dad used to do what he called a Texas dry rub, which was a little cinnamon, brown sugar, red pepper and salt. I dont know the proportions though, sorry! Im sure you could find a similar recipe easily, it was really good! He used to put that on turkey and smoke it to NOM NOM!
  • I also feel better about myself most the time...Im pretty nerdy and I used to be really shy and embarrassed about it but now Im like "yeah, I'm Boomer for Halloween, so what!?" haha. Also, I've always loved fashion (a nerd that is fashionable, what?) which I've always been to afraid to try to pull off, especially since I…
  • This is pretty much it. If you are willing to eat ONE pop-tart for breakfast and nothing else until lunch, then a cup-o-ramen (the small ones) then a couple slices of pizza for dinner, congrats! Youv'e only eaten 1100 calories today. Personally I would be starving. And feeling like crap. Just keep eating the good stuff and…
  • I hate going to the gym, so I bought a home gym to do SL with (power rack, bench, bar, and weights) it cost 600ish. That was pretty cheap stuff too, my equipment gets the job done but it isnt exactly gym material. Unless you truly hate the gym, I suggest getting to the gym more often if you want to do SL. It was worth it…
  • I agree, a lot of exercise is optional unless your goal is stamina and/or being muscular. Also, I think "skinny fat" is an ugly term. Is healthy not good enough anymore? You dont have to be rock hard in order to be healthy. Personally, I do want muscles, but I dont like that term because it just seems so negative for…
  • or pocahontas. That movie was pretty though, I thought it was worth watching once, even though plot sucked. edited because I cant quote.
  • Im with all the people that mentioned "gore porn" movies like saw and final destination. I also dont like the borne movies even though I like other action flicks...What can I say, the whole "I dont know who I am" thing just got old for me. I walked out of the theater for that one, and a Saw movie that I got dragged to...
  • Sounds weird, but I often eat leftover curry for breakfast. Takes like 2 min to microwave. Its awesome! I hate eggs, but my boyfriend can fry eggs in no time. You could also hard boil them and just keep them in the fridge to grab on the go with a piece of fruit.
  • I'm a native speaker of both Spanish and English because I was taught by my parents to speak Spanish; the school systems don't require it. Just in that last sentence I made a grammar mistake even though I'm a native speaker. At least American English speakers are pretty lax on that sort of thing. No one really cares, and…
  • I've always loved that theater popcorn but they always make me sick! I eat it sometimes anyway:ohwell: Im with the guy that said that would be a "forget to log" day for me...
  • Kind of a mutt mix but my mom is Mexican and 1/4 Japanese (she doesnt speak japanese or know much about the heritage) and my dad is German-American, as in from Germany several generations ago, not as in speaks German and still has family there. He looks very German though! Me, I think I mostly look white, kind of off-white…
  • Thats awesome and inspiring! Im currently *almost* able to do a pull up. I can do a bunch of slow negatives... its getting there. IT WILL HAPPEN!
