Interesting concept. I don't like my body when I look down (at my tummy), but when I look in the mirror I do like it. Maybe because I'm "sucking it in". Not sure. I think I look basdass when lifting but then when I'm lounging on the couch with bad posture then I"m bulging in all the wrong places. I'd like to look good in…

haha, that's exactly what I thought too!!! we are dating ourselves though....

Shoes too tight? Shoes laced up too tight? Maybe you need thicker socks (more padding) I used to have the same problem, but I bought better shoes and tied them more mindfully. (ie: I didn't just jam my feet in and go)

Gaming is great - it's fun and exciting....but it is sedentary (not active). If you want to get fit then every 2 hours you spend gaming must be matched by a 1 hour physical exercise. 2 for 1 (1 for 1 would be much better but baby steps here). Exercise comes first, then the gaming. No exercise that day? guess what....…

I would try to do something about the amount of "processed" foods you are eating. Carbs look ok, but you should consider rye bread.

I do Body Pump class twice a week (I'd love to do it 3x a week but can't fit it in my schedule) and I've been logging it at 330 calories - a number I sort of pulled out of the air. I went with the theory that I'd rather underestimate calorie burn than OVER estimate it. However, that said, I'm sweaty and sore and feel…

So besides calipers (which I don't have) and digital scales (which sound worthless) is there any other way of measuring body fat. It seems like it might be a very useful thing for me to know!

If this old school song doens't get you up and running then there's something wrong here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzN0mMx-sJg It's perfect when you are just launching into a long straight stretch. Spencer Davis Group - I'm a Man - a song from back in the day when men were men and were proud of it!

goji berries = $$$$$ but they are supposed to be very good for you. They are pretty tart. I've only had the dried ones though.

Sounds like a good challenge! If I were doing it then I'd pack an extra pair of socks and a second pair of shoes. Swap them out 1/2 through - just to give my feet a break and avoid blisters. Oh, and get an early start on it - this will probably be a long day!

Keeping hitting "snooze"? I put my alarm clock on the other side of the room - I have to get out of bed to turn it off. That usually works....

It's those little things in life sometimes, that can make all the difference.

I'm going for damage control mostly. Plus I have a lot of free time over xmas break so Im going to look into some of the various drop in exercise classes held at the gym that I go to I want to try zumba! I am optimistic about this.

"Youth is wasted on the young" (Oscar Wilde), but I think it's supposed to be that way. Anyway, everyday, you are as young as you are ever going to be. I miss my 20 year old body....but I don't miss my 20 year old mind haha edit: Just turned 50, feel kinda weird about about....kinda ambivalent too though.

Glad I could help. And now YOU rock!

Cast your mind back, back to when you had a really good work out. Remember that feeling you had afterwards...remember how that feeling of accomplishment lasted for hours and you could feel it in your muscles. Remember a time when you almost didn't go work out but then at the last minute you did anyway - remember that…

wow! you rock!

One day at a time my friend, one day at a time. You are not alone.

Two words: nicotine gum. Get some, chew some. It will keep you from going postal, I know of what I speak of. Good luck, it will be the hardest yet most rewarding thing you have ever done (followed closely by losing weight)

I love Handel's messiah. it's very relaxing and spiritually uplifting. :) Love handles on the other hand...I could do with out. Unfortunately and cruelly we tend lose weight in areas we might not want to and the place we wish was slimmer takes forever to lose. I lose weight off my face before my belly grrrrr

Suggestion: Free food YES! Pizza YES! one slice only YES! Notice how that second piece just didn't taste quite as good as the first one.Tis the season for free food indeed, around my office the chocolates/cookies/treats etc are already starting to make the rounds. If I _really_ want it then I will consider. If it's not my…

15% looks good to me. Maximum - maybe a little less. You gotta work pretty hard to get 10% or less I'm thinking. I can't imagine spending any more time in the gym than I already do (about an hour a day, 5-6 days a week)

Interesting site - I've never seen anything like this. I wish they had one for men.

Brag, maintain, remove clothes as often as possible (legally, morally and ethically correctly of course) but most of all, enjoy those extra 300+ or so calories a day that I've had to subtract from my diet to get to that point. oh, and I think I will have a beer or two! (on the beach, without my shirt)

I'm not sure if this is legal in your country but this is what I used for quite a while - it doesn't mix super well (you have to blend it rather than just hand shake) but it's good with baking as well. It's made from ground up hemp seeds which doesn't actually dissolve. (to be honest, I'm so hungry all the time that I…

My work-life schedule is all over the map so sometimes I have to do the early morning workout. 1.) Get clothes/water bottle - everything ready the night before. 2.) Put alarm clock on the other side of the room, so I have to get out of bed to turn it off 3.) Coffee 4.) Don't think to much about it, just go there and once…
