  • When you first start insanity, take it easy. Don't worry about keeping pace with the trainers in the video. Focus on the form, even if that means only doing a few reps each round. The form is what's important and the rest will come with time.

  • I've doing Nike+ Kinect Training. It gives me enough variety that I don't get bored, and best of all, it personalizes the workouts for you.
  • I have the Polar H7. It's a Bluetooth model that syncs with my iPhone. I use the Digifit app and my workouts sync to MyFitnessPal. Highly recommended.

  • Polar H7 here. I have it linked to my iPhone through the Digifit app. It syncs my workouts to Fitibit, which then syncs to MyFitnessPal.
  • I use both. Fitbit tracks my normal activity throughout the day. Then I use my Polar HRM during my exercise sessions. I log the calories burned from exercise my HRM gives me in Fitbit and both the general activity and exercise get synced to MyFitnessPal via Fitbit. Works perfectly.
