I try to buy local or minimally processed. I avoid anything with soy. It is definitely a challenge, but I do feel better and the food tastes so much better. Sugar is my demon and it is easier to just avoid completely.

I eat two soft boiled eggs, half of an avocado and some greens (either spinach or arugula). I used to eat oatmeal and fresh fruit, but overtime it started to make me feel bloated.

If you don't add cardio and strength you may end up as a skinny fat person.......... your body needs tone (escpecially the older you get).

It is strange but I actually keep (and show off) my fat pictures. I love them. It just proves to myself how strong I really am. No one said losing weight is easy.

You can't live without treats -- just make them meaningful and keep them in control. It's best to predetermine (plan) what you want to treat yourself with before you eat it. Log it and enjoy slowly! Michelle, I too was overweight and desperate. YOU can do it. Think and act thin. Workout everyday without exception (do something), log everything you eat before you eat it and eventually it will come off. Once it is off you will NEVER want to go back again. If you do not have your health you do NOT have anything.…
