Awesome stuff Larry!! I'll be adding some of your tunes to my workout playlist for sure!! Sounds very Korn/Lincoln Park orientated...

I'm a HUGE fan of heavy metal!! My favorite band of all time would have to be Pantera... Nothing like a bit of angry music while burning those excess calories!! \m/

I actually agree with most of the stuff the OP has said... I love MFP, but agree you have to think about what you're putting into your body, not just how many calories it contains. I know from looking at others diaries, that there are A LOT of people who will skip breakfast and have a basically non existent lunch, just so…

You have a lower BMI than 85% of females aged 15-29 in your country You have a lower BMI than 61% of females aged 15-29 in the world If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 36,533,250 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population You're most like someone from Niger

Fat is important for many body processes. You need to eat some fat in your diet. Fat protects your organs, keeps you warm and helps your body absorb and move nutrients around. It also helps hormone production. However, some fats are better than others and having too much of any type is not a good idea.

I agree... Everyone seems to be "gluten intolerant" these days :noway:

I am always getting dirty looks from people at work when I tell them I am trying to lose weight. I just tell them that the yucky bits are hidden under my clothes!! I normally get a bit of a laugh out of them

I'm pretty lucky, I don't get any increase in my appetite, however I do bloat like crazy!! I did some research a little while ago and found that drinking water and exercise really help.

I'm from Adelaide, thanks for the friend request!! Hope you've had a wonderful day :flowerforyou:

I generally do 30 minutes on my exercise bike a day, using one of the more challenging settings. The calories burned are almost exactly the same on the display, as when I log '30 minutes stationary bike, vigorous effort' on MFP. Mind you, if in doubt, I wouldn't rely on those extra calories...

I take salad to work for lunch quite a lot as I have a 30 minute lunch break, but I only get 10 minutes for my morning tea. I'm also a super slow eater so it has to be something quick and filling :P I love the idea of peanut butter on toast, but unfortunately have no access to a toaster :(

Porridge with low GI cane sugar and a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon - yum!!

Keen to get more friends to help keep me motivated :)

I learnt a long time ago that it's almost impossible to stay under my recommended sugar intake. As long as the sugar is coming from fruits and veggies and not the naughty stuff - like chocolate, I don't let it bother me.

Hi everyone, I'm also looking for more friends to help me stay motivated and keep on track. Feel free to add me!!
