Well done kitsilana, sounds like you're doing great. Let me know how you get on after a month. I've never tried clean eating before. Maybe that will be my next challenge.
-
Yes, that's how I feel Tealbutterfly913. Good luck :)
-
Awesome intrigame23, it's great to have other people doing it with me - will keep me honest :)
-
That's fine Rodax74, will see how I go, so far so good but it's only day 2, kind of like giving up chocolate I guess, the first few days are hard but after a week I think it will be easier :)
-
Good on you Bronzeambition, you have my support. I'll give feedback each week on how I'm finding it / feeling, hopefully a bit more energetic :)
-
Awesome, that's great :)

Just daily corkienee but want to focus more on the good food and not the scale.

Yes thanks, I'm a bit that way as well. But I'll give it a go and post my result on this thread come 1st March.

Nice to meet you too hikiwix. I'm from just up the road in Palmerston North :) Thought it would be nice to have a few locals on MFP and discuss various fitness things / events happening in NZ.

Awesome fe_nyx, welcome to MFP. It's a great way to keep track of things and keep you motivated.
-
Hee hee, that made me laugh - no I meant New Zealanders!

@Mr_Knight, I think you're right, was running a very fast run for 1 min which is great but not a full sprint because this morning I changed things up a bit, 1.5 - 2 min walk to a 30 second sprint (much faster and burning lungs, legs etc) by the time the treadmill reached max speed I would say it was about a 20 second…
-
Thanks for the feedback guys & gals, very interesting. Shall try a few changes and see how it goes - really enjoying the interval running but always good to have a few options to change things up. Merry Christmas to you all :)
-
Good luck with your journey, feel free to add.
-
Aussie living in New Zealand, feel free to add.

Thanks Jacson53, just tried 1.5 minute jog to a 1 minute sprint - seemed to work well and I got in a couple more sprints, felt great afterwards, may keep doing this and just increase the length I run for.
-
All the best with your journey, feel free to friend. Blessings to you and your wife!

Have done 2 mudders in New Zealand, first one 6km's and 2nd one 12km's. Was hard but a lot of fun. Was a very cold weekend when we did it so my advice would be that if you're running in the cold to keep your head warm and hair dry. Just take it as it comes, don't stress and enjoy yourself, you'll be great!
-
Again thanks guys & gals, so nice to know I have some kindred spirits out there  Also glad to know that although I ate all the pies that others ate the cakes, cookies and the other tasty stuff....thanks!
