Thanks guys for your help. I'll look at eating cleaner foods and see if that lowers the sodium. I am drinking about 3-4 litres of water a day so that could possibly flush the sodium out.

Wow so many quick responses already , thanks guys. The tdee method gives me 2558 cals a day. I think I'll go withthis and not eat my exercised calories back and see what happens. Does that sound about right?

Just a quick question.... I'm 6ft5 215lbs and go running 2-3 times a week and burn off 600 cals a time as well as doing weights on the other days. I have set my fitness level as active even though I have a desk job and I have it also set that I want to lose 1.5lb a week. So, I've put all that into to MFP and it's come up…

I know this is kinda an old thread but there's not many places on here for tall men. I'm 6'5 and currently 221 lbs. I end up eating around 2700 cals a day, but I also do a lot of walking to and from work and shopping etc as I dont have a car, and I go running a few nights a week as well so I end up burning around 600 - 900…

Thanks guys for replying, as my BMR is 2268 which is the minimum I need to eat, I'm going to aim for about 2600 cals a day. Would I lose weight if ate 2600 a day? If I go for a run and burn off say 400 cals, would I then have to eat 3000 cals that day to lose weight? It seems a bit excessive, as I'm eating around 1600 a…
