During pregnancy you need an additional 300 cals in the first trimester, 350 cals in the second and towards the end of pregnancy an additional 500 cals. I would think you would figure out your TDEE(what you would eat to MAINTAIN your current weight) and add the extra amount of cals onto that number. Eat that number each…

I cancelled my WW membership and joined MFP about 6 months ago. Best thing I ever did. I am doing pretty much the same thing I did on WW, for FREE! Plus I have learned to look at food in a whole new way. Looking at the fats, calories, sodium, carbs, etc. in foods rather than just seeing it as a point.

Seems like Herbalife is not a good source of protein from what others say. I buy my protein powder at Kroger and it is flavorless. Has 24 grams of protein in it, 110 calories and nothing else! No sugar, no carbs, no fat, etc. Much better than 5 grams in that stuff you are using. Also only 10 bucks!

I can see the change, also you are incredibly pretty! I love your hair! :)

I love that you said midwives instead of OB's. That's an argument for another day and another site though. :) Carry on.

I tried them years ago before I woke up to the reality of healthy living. They didn't fill me up at all! Just a can of sugar. If you want a shake that will keep you full and isn't full of sugar try a protein shake. I wouldn't use it as a meal replacement though. Eat your food, don't drink it. And have a protein shake as a…

I did week two day two week before last and then got a really bad cold so I had to take a week off. So yesterday I decided to start back at week one to get myself back at it. That's what I love about the program, it's based on your pace. :)

Hi! I have a 13 month old, we are still nursing. I remember how hungry I was when he was a itty bitty newborn. I tried to stay around 1800ish cals a day. I just added 500 cals on to my calorie goal each day. Good luck! I am only a pound away from my pre-preg weight with him but I have 20-30 more to get to my ULTIMATE goal!…

Yes, add 300-500 cals onto your goal each day. I did that when I was exclusively bfing. Now that my little guy is 13 months old he has some solid foods along with nursing so I don't add that many on anymore. It's crucial to do so when their only food source is your milk though.

Your transformation is amazing!! Can I ask what your height is? You look awesome, only a pound less than me but so fit looking. :) Also I must say I am super jealous of your thick gorgeous hair! ;)

Everything! lol I just had some for dinner. I cooked it, pulled the "noodles" out and topped them with half an ounce craisins, an ounce and a half feta cheese, and sriracha. It was pretty tasty and less than 300 cals. Very filling!

I like your routine. Why not do both! I think I might try this. I love to run, and just need to work on adding in lifting. 30 mins seems doable.

Thank you for clearing up confusion, CarsonRuns. I found a good price on the Polar Ft4(think that's what it is called). Would you recommend that one?

dsmpunk, I read your link. I just have one question. The top of my waist(where most people would measure at their belly button), the crease when I bend sideways is 33 inches. That would be half my height. So yay, right! But then here is where I get confused. I have a saggy belly(three children, large weight loss, and just…

I struggle with this too. I see some cardio hate on the boards but I actually DO love running. I don't do it obsessively. But I run three times a week. I intend to start lifting heavy soon too, but I want to keep my running. I like it! lol

Freaking awesome tip! Thank you!!

I am ordering some from Amazon. Whatever you do DRY FRY them before you use them in meals. I hear that changes them tremendously making them much easier to eat(not so weird texturally).

Nothing because of my weight loss, TONS of things because of my health.

Hmm, I looked up fry bread. Seems pretty much the same as a tortilla except not quite shaped the same.
-
Oooh, I would love to hear what people have to share. And I am now intrigued by the fry bread. lol
-
And I don't mean "dry" but the ones that aren't cold. The ones that aren't soy.
-
:( I can never find the dry noodles. I don't eat soy, and havent' looked for those anyway. But Kroger doesn't have the dry ones. I can't find them at Walmart either. I so want to try these too. :(

Mmmm, these sound delicious! I love coconut so I can't wait to try them!

I'm doing W1D3 today. I struggled with day one I guess because I had sat around all winter after having a baby and got lazy, but day two was a breeze. I really enjoyed it! Now I am finishing W1 today and can't wait to move on to W2. Little scared though. W2 was as far as I made it last time before the weather started…
