Well, I've found alternatives for most things that are still good, but nothing really for homemade dumplings. Mac and cheese was pretty easy, so I can still get some comfort food without loading my calories in one sitting.

My stepmom made turkey dumplings today, and it was sooo hard to say no.

Seems that way lol. Really hard to say no to southern cookin

Where is this food you eat?

Yeah, I was gonna go back onto the Stronglift 5x5. Would work out pretty well. I use to be pretty built. I still am strong obviously from lifting all the weight I have, plus work. But it would be great to get back to my high school numbers.

I'm about 40lbs heavier than you, and I'm just starting back myself. You'll be surprised at how much calories we actually consume. In order for me to lose 2lbs a week, I need to eat around 3300 calories. That's LOSING weight, can you imagine how many calories we eat to maintain our high weight? Trust me, input everything…

Factory job is I run machines assembling roller bearings for cars. I have to constantly fill the machine with shells, needles, and cages, as well as moving the finished boxes. Boxes range anywhere from 25lb to 75lb. There are some 100lb, but I will always use the lift with those, as I'm not comfortable lifting them since a…

Also, I added myself to The Biggest Loser Monthly Challenge. That way, I have a team around me, and I'll be much more inclined to help them win. I'm a bit competitive.

I used to do the Stronglift 5x5, and saw good results, I think I'm going to try that. Less than 30 minutes, and I can treadmill at the end to end up with an hour. I'd only be in there 3 days a week, so that helps. BUT! Definitely going to get everything else straight before I start going to the gym constantly. Thank you…

I should clarify, I wasn't clear in the original post. I do have a YMCA membership, but I don't pay for it. My work pays for it, and all I have to do at the end of the year is show that I used it at least 5 times in a month. Great deal. And yeah, I try to strive for 2200 calories, BUT, I usually do go over, just because I…

My problem is that my work and college are 2 towns apart, and I live in the town between them. I spend a good deal of time, at least 90 minutes just driving back and forth. Luckily, I'm almost done with college, at least here.

I think that's probably best. Its a huge amount of work, and maybe I can just go to the gym on weekends. Already have the membership, paid in full, so might as well use it, even a little bit. Maybe an hour swimming or walking each day. That still gets me out by at most 3 o'clock.

I did but it still allots me over 3500 calories per day. That seems insane, could I possibly have been eating more calories than that per day??

The soreness is nothing new. Working at the factory has helped me get better with determining which pain is actually severe, and which is just me whining. I believe I can do this! I know I have to have an outside reason, aside from I want to look better. I'm doing it so I can live a long, healthy life with my family. I've…

Yeah, I have definitely cut down my calories. I was a center in high school, and weightlifted all the time. My knees are bad because I got into an accident my first semester at college, and the dashboard crumpled into my knees. But after that I kept that same high caloric intake. Now, I've cut my meals to this, at least…
