I hate those seats lol. The only seats smaller than that I suffered in were at a local auditorium. I live in one of the fattest cities in America, so I was surprised haha

I agree with this. I don't trust a lot of what I see on MFP or online. For example, using a gazelle for 20 minutes supposedly burns 170ish cals. I seriously don't even sweat so I highly doubt that. The days that I use the gazelle instead of running or doing anything else, I usually don't eat back those calories just in…

Remember Chia Pets? Those things were cool. Anyway. I put chia seeds in my smoothies; at first I thought they were slimy and freaky little things but I don't mind them now. I have a feeling they are keeping me feeling "full" longer after those smoothies but I'm not sure. It's not a huge difference but still noticeable.

The reason for the big breakfast (according to the internet) is to boost your metabolism and to keep you from feeling "starved" and ultimately binging later on in the day. Eating a big breakfast works for me, because I was an ex-binger lol. Doesn't work for everybody of course, do what you want.

It would make it a lot better if you had a really hardcore workout day the same day as your "cheat day". I don't have cheat days, I just eat what I want when I want it as long as it's within my calories and macros. It works out better for me that way.

I have a problem with chocolate and peanut butter. To keep from going absolutely crazy, I eat it every day in small portions. For example, chocolate+peanut butter protein shake. Or peanut butter on ezekiel bread, or chocolate spread (like nutella) on ezekiel bread etc. I lose weight without going over in my calories, and…

I don't think it matters; as long as you eat a big healthy breakfast :)

Eat healthy. Fruits, veggies, beans, nuts, brown rice, wheat, oats, etc. Lean meats if you eat meat. Lots of water. I've been taking a prenatal vitamin for months, although I'm not planning on getting pregnant til next year. My husband and I had tried last year with no luck, so I've decided to lose a bit of weight and take…

I count water as water. I suppose you could do it either way though; unsweetened green tea without lemon isn't much different from water lol
-
I don't, or else I'll just get depressed, lol.

I am into women, and I go with chunky. Not too much though

Work out more to eat more :)

Where did you buy it at? I'd call customer service and get those punks to replace it. :drinker:

My husband is obsessed with headphones, and he thinks the Beats overpriced and I trust his opinion. He thinks the absolute best headphones are Audio Technica ATH-M50. They are about $160 bucks on amazon. They are studio quality. He also has Sennheisers which he uses sometimes as well. I on the other hand want Lady Gaga…

Last year I was feeling impulsive and decided on a whim to try the Lemonade detox thing. Master Cleanse I think it's called. I followed all the rules for two days, and I these intense migraines I couldn't take (I have migraines normally and they make me wish I was dead) so, I gave up and went out for chinese food. I'd like…

Thanks for the tip. I believe the cookies in my area are ABC bakers as well. They better be or I'll be forever heart broken, but I'll definitely check before I buy out the place

Spoon full of peanut butter... yum

I do that quite often. As long as I'm not over my weekly calorie allowance I'm good.

thanks a latte

I changed one thing at a time when I was transitioning from meat-eater to vegetarian to vegan. I started with the meat, then cut out milk, eggs, and finally cheese. It worked for me :) I also cut out sodas separately as well. It helps when I focus on one thing, instead of making a bunch of changes all at once.

Please see a doctor :) I injured my ankle last September... I was a runner. I never saw a doctor, and it got so gross and ugly! I regret not seeing a doc and I am just now starting to run again, and I still feel like that ankle is "weak" and it worries me. If I continue having trouble with it, I'll finally go to a doc. I…

I'm the same way! I start, and never finish. This time, I'm trying something different though. I'm purposely getting myself obsessed with health, working out and eating right. The only time I really get something done is if I dive into it 100%. I have a calendar that I mark my good days, bad days, whether I work out or…

I would get discouraged too. Then I switched to measurements and I would somehow mess that up and I would feel even worse, lol. So now I just weigh myself once a month; and it's working out MUCH better for me. I put my scale up in my closet, out of sight, out of mind.

I'm so sorry your friend had a rough childhood :-/ unfortunately, you can't keep people from making inappropriate comments. She should turn that around when people say things like that, and feel more confident, and beautiful instead. :flowerforyou:
