Netflix instant and Hulu have tons of free videos. I do Bob Harper Kettlebell (Love it!) and I started 30 Day Shred today. I also do Zumba and my elliptical. I like to mix it up so I don't get bored.

This is it EXACTLY! Its a bizarre love/hate relationship with something you know is trying to kill you, but you just can't quite let go....Until you decide one day to totally break up and head on down the road.

I have to disagree a bit here. I quit three weeks ago and to me, what better time to quit than when I'm logging calories and exercising. There is no way I'll gain weight, and I haven't. I liked smoking but I don't like the wrinkles, the smell, and the coughing and wheezing. For me it was just time.

Have some almonds, avocado, a glass of milk, these are calorie dense foods that are good for you. But eat your calories and your exercise calories. Your body needs fuel, if it doesn't get it enough it will stockpile fat. Its not that difficult.

You know the same amount of time is going to go by whether you try or don't try. So why wouldn't you just keep at it?

They've worked at it! It didn't happen over night - they took it one day at time - ate right and exercised. That's how you get there.

Maybe the key word here is "diet". It should be a lifestyle change. I can't see your food diary so maybe your calorie intake is set too low. Eat some pizza using one of the healthier options and just fit it in with your calorie intake.

I've also tried to figure this out. One website said 400 calories an hour, another said 20 calories per minute. Even so, I can't figure out how to enter it.

I'm the grandmother of six so I understand. I quit smoking three weeks ago and its still hard but I'm doing it in conjunction with MFP. I 'm making an entire lifestyle change all the way around. I'll send you a friend request - we can both use the motivation and support.
