Quick loss, quick gain. Journal, set a calorie goal, exercise, drink lots of water, fruits and vegetables, lean meats, avoid empty calories (foods that have no nutritional value).

Happy one year! Mine is next month. You look great. You should be so proud of yourself and all your hard work. Congrats! I hope you continue to do well.

I would rather eat my calories then drink them. I love food more than alcohol.

I am 5'1 my calorie goal is 1200 if I eat within this goal and burn 400 a day without eating back my calories I loose 1-3 lbs a week. I currently weigh 144. Some will argue this is too low, but it works for me. ( I am on a medical weight loss program and under a doctor's supervision). If I eat back my calories or don't…

I don't believe a week is a plateau either. I have been doing this for 36 weeks some weeks I'm up two pounds the next down four. Sometimes I stay the same or only loose .2 lbs. This is going to take time. Be patient.

If you are looking for recipes to help you eat healthier, I suggest Pinterest they have a ton of ideas. They have a search box so just type in what you are looking for. You can probably loose five lbs. in two weeks. Loosing more will take a little longer but it's a start. Good luck to you!

I think you are eating to few calories as well, up them to at least 1200. Sometimes when you are as close to your ideal weight as you are, the weight comes off a lot slower, so be patient.

Make a list of twenty reasons why you are doing this, then put it somewhere where you can see it. Read it everyday to keep you motivated. Set goals like where you want to be each month. Currently my goal is to lose 4-6lbs a month. Meal planning is important it helps with setting calorie goal. Example if you are at a 1600…

I want to be an example for my glrls. I don't want them to struggle with their weight like I have. I want to feel better about myself, to be less self conscious, to fit comfortably in a seat at the movies, to no longer buy plus size clothes, to not worry about people taking my picture and how I look in them, to prove to…

I plan to keep logging when I meet my goal. I have never been able to maintain on my own. When I feel like I can do it alone then I will stop. I don't want to stop logging and go back to who I was before.

Hi welcome to myfitnesspal. I love this app. I am 5'0 and have been on a 1200 calorie a day since Oct 25, averaging an hour of excersise a day. I have lost 22lbs. Three things I have tried to stick by: 2 serving of fruit, 3 servings of vegetables, 8 cups of water everyday. I read if you drink 16oz in the morning before you…
