Totally rude - and what makes it worse is she thought she was helping! My mother once told me "You're the prettiest fat woman I know" and couldn't figure out why I was upset by that... Clueless. Stick with the plan - you are (and always will be) more beautiful inside and out than clueless rude people.

I'm a "volume eater" - I figured out a long time ago that if I try to stop eating large portions I make myself miserable, so I just tried as best I could to switch the stuff I'm eating a lot of. Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't.

Yes, All - only water is water, but there are programs (like WW) that say black coffee and unsweetened tea (things with no calories) don't need to be counted, but they are NOT water. If you are putting sugar or milk/cream in your coffee or tea, you need to count it - it adds up quickly!!

YES! It helps that I decided a while back that exercise is like homework was when I was a kid, or cleaning the toilet, or visiting the GYN yearly - I don't like it, but I have to do it. That's all. It's necessary. I also gave up the idea that I was going to be perfect, like popping out of bed at 5am to go for a 5 mile run…
