There has been a lot of research into the effect of smaller plates and fullness, and if your plate is smaller you do eat less and feel fuller. It is weird, but it works.

Your body also needs sugar for brain function. Your brain cannot run on fat, it MUST have sugar to function.

Your diet looks good, lots of fruit and vegetables which is great to see. For weight loss, it isn't so much what you eat but how much you eat, so keep an eye on that. Assuming you have the calories right, it looks good,
