I'm a hair under 5'9 and my goal is 150. In the past that is where I have maintained easily, and felt good. I have been at 145, but that's on the lean side almost 10 years ago.

At one time in my life I had lost 60lbs and never tried low carb once. I generally find I FEEL better (less bloating, more energy) when I eat non-grain carbs, but in the right portions, so a small sweet potato or 1/2 cup rice or quinoa. Portion control has always worked for me.

Everyone I know that does crossfit is ripped. they look super fit. However, most of them are also injured, or have been along the way. So I'm not convinced. Thanks - I just started yesterday. I haven't done strength training consistently in awhile, but know I need it to take off my last ten lbs. I'm sore today even though at the time I didn't think the workout was that tough! I'm glad to know it's working even if it does hurt a little!
