I'd have to agree it varies. I always feel like my face is the last place I start to notice the weight loss.

I had RNY in December 2011. I am down 152lbs and still losing. I am aiming for another 40-80 lbs. Best thing I ever did. My high blood pressure is non-existant now, my A1C has come down to below 6 and I feel fantastic. :) Props to all of you that had the courage to join us on the loser's bench!

I haven't lost 152 since October of 2012, I started this in December of 2011. I was down about 100lbs give or take when I joined MFP, so I have lost about 50ish pounds in the last 5 months (about 2ish lbs a week).

I am starting to feel like a Shar Pei. I am 137lbs down (14 months post op) and the skin on my upper arms, thighs and stomach is insane. The excess skin is giving me horrendous lower back pain as well as skin infections - its lovely :grumble: I know my insurance will pay for removal to my stomach area only, so I guess I am…

Post surgery, walking is pretty much enforced. I had RNY and the doctor had me up and walking the day after my surgery and part of the post-surgery care included walking every day (starting with a few minutes and working up to an hour a day). You should address your specific exercise questions to your surgeon

I am a result of RNY gastric bypass. I spent most of my life (and especially my adult life) battling with my weight. RNY was recommended to me 8 years ago, but at that point I decided to do the non-surgical route. I did the medically supervised diet, exercise route, tried a few prescription options and the bottom line for…

I have the sign for virgo on my chest, a tribal rose on my hip and the pictured below (which I drew myself). My right inner leg above my ankle.

I had my surgery just over a year ago and I notice I am still losing about 10-15lbs a month at about 1400 calories a day. I still have about 80ish lbs to go, so I am just hoping it remains slow and steady.
