We are close in age/height and have similar weight goals (my DW is 145) and we have 4 year old boys. Maybe this could work?

This is my first 50 day challenge and I am super excited. My goals for this challenge are: * Increase my water intake * Lower my sodium intake * Walk at least 5 times a week. * Lose 15 lbs.

I lost 123lbs in 2012 and want to aim for at least 80 more this year. Age: 36 Height: 5'6 CW: 252 GW 165 DW: 145 I am mother to an extremely energetic 4 year old son (who is my inspiration for losing weight). I work from home, so I spend a lot of time at the computer. My exercise regime is a little on the lighter side, I…

I participated in December and want in for January.

I've lost 123 lbs this year (my goal was 125), so I am pretty proud of myself. I definitely want to participate in this for January.

Logged late this week due to being out of town with no internet. I was so well behaved Christmas Day though!

I'm closing in on 250 and still have 100+ to go. Feel free to add me :)

There we go, finally got my pictures to work

Mother to 1 boy (4 years old) and I've lost 113 lbs in the last year.

I have a coworker who had RNY and lost 210 lbs in her first year, most of it in her first 6 months. At 6 months out, I had only lost about 60lbs and had been at a month long stall. At my 6 month post op appointment I was in my surgeon's office in tears because I was doing something wrong since the weight just wasn't…

This surprises me. I was on Zoloft for about 4 months prior to my surgery and was able to take it starting at 3 days post-op. Since then, I've actually had the dosage increased a bit to help balance me out. I'm not suggesting you go against your bariatric team, but I'd question it, especially if you personally feel like…

I can completely relate. I get asked often when I am due. My response is always a confident, "Sorry, I'm not pregnant." which usually turns them bright red. I've learned that a complete stranger who is ignorant enough to ask another complete stranger if they are pregnant, isn't worth stressing over.

Feel free to add me! The support I've gotten from MFP has been amazing and a real help!
-
I am 2 lbs from my halfway goal weight and 12 lbs from my end of the year goal. Since joining MFP a month ago, I have lost 12lbs and its been such an inspiration to have people cheering me on. Having such a supportive community has made such a difference!

Count me in. I'd like to lose 12-15 lbs in December.

Remember as you lose weight and fat, extra hormones get released. I was a mess post-op for quite a while. Even at 11 months post-op, I have bad days. Talk to your PCP and ask about a anti-depressant if you aren't on one already. I am currently on Zoloft and its done wonders. I don't think its abnormal to not want to be in…

I love, love, love Isopure!!! I have been using it for almost a year. I have 2 shakes a day which is 100g of protein. I haven't come across a flavor I don't like yet.
-
My first suggestion is definitely try to plan out your whole menu before you get to the store and stick to your list. Buy generic when possible! I agree with the frozen over fresh veggies if you are trying to save money. As far as your proteins go, usually you can get larger packages cheaper, so I usually buy those,…

Height? 5'6" Starting weight? 375 Current weight? 268 Goal Weight? 145 Age? 36 How many calories you eat a day? Planned is 1450, but I always seem to end up at less than 1200.

I had depression issues before my surgery, but have had to have my meds adjusted post-surgery as I was still feeling as little low. I can definitely relate to the losing friends, but on my end, its because I have been so self-conscious eating in front of people since my surgery. I really didn't start feeling social until…
