Oops, I always weigh my salad dressing (grams)...so I've been underestimating cals?

Thank you for reminding me about her videos! I used to love doing them. Made 3 miles a lot less boring. :) Think I'll start them again tomorrow!
-
I'm trying this again starting tomorrow (I only did it for a week the last time). ???? I know it's totally mental though & I just need to try harder. Good luck! Feel free to add me if you want. I plan to only track on fast days though, since I think the beauty of this "diet" is to not have to count 7 days a week!
-
Some people definitely can, unfortunately I'm not one of them. I love food too much - if I don't track & try to stay within a certain calorie range I could seriously just snack all day. I do get what you're saying about becoming obsessed though. I took about a year off of tracking thinking I would just "intuitively eat".…

This. & you can also still have all the foods you mentioned, just in moderation. :)

I've never heard of it done this way, but it's very smart! Thank you for the tip!!
-
I completely agree, thank you! I will look for them next time I'm at the store. :)

This definitely sounds like the easiest & most accurate way to do it! I am cooking for my husband & 3 year old as well though, & my daughter won't eat a whole serving, & my husband may want a little more than 1 serving, etc. so that would probably be difficult. I will remember this method for when I make things for myself…
-
Also a good option. Although I've never really looked, I've never seen beans (kidney beans for example) in the frozen section? Can you buy them frozen?
-
I will have to look for those options, thanks!

Thank you for the reply! I was basically just asking if it matters whether or not I add/strain liquid in beans & corn & how it would affect the weight/measurement of the soup. I know I sounded really confusing! lol

Yum, thanks for sharing!

I lost a lot of weight on WW & maintained with WW for a long time before I had my daughter...the reason I decided to go with just counting calories instead of back to WW is because I realized just how little I was eating to stay within WW guidelines. It's ridiculous how little you eat with the points given vs. what you can…
-
Haha, caloric donations would be awesome!
-
Wow, this is awesome. Thanks for the clarification on whyyy I could easily eat 3 cupcakes in one sitting & not be phased! ha. I won't be giving up cupcakes entirely, but this is definitely something to think about before reaching for a second!

This. I made sure to look up the conversion when weighing my coffee creamer. 1ml=1g

If you're just wanting to lose weight, it's all about calories in vs. calories out. Macros are more for health, & like you said, physique, etc. I honestly only concentrate on calories right now, one day I may work on macros for overall health. You look like you're doing great so far! Good luck on your journey! :)

This. Crazy!

Amazing progress!

Good stuff.

That your body stops burning calories after you've fallen asleep.

Yes! After years of being hungry, & doing lots of research, I'm now a big fan of eat more to lose more! I'm happy eating a little above my BMR.

This.
