Well...its up to you! Do you feel you could do workouts 5 & 6 (which are pretty killer, btw) in the next three days without feeling too burnt out? There's no harm in taking the scenic route. So, if you add a week to the process...is it SO bad for you? Ultimately, I think, if you're good under pressure and with pushing…

I was thinking of trying her yoga dvd after... Have you done that one? I'm only on week 5 of BR and am still considering going two rounds with it. But in the interest of having a plan for life after the revolution of my body...

I'm glad I'm not alone - was complaining about 5 the other day - KILLER! My arms and shoulders are still dead! And Evil Jillian was laughing at us the whole time! lol She's so wrong! x

A bit more. I haven't tackled the cardio yet, but there are definitely some moves your knee won't agree with if its a bit dodgy. Its just an extension of what we did in Phase 1, so there's some challenges in there. Don't fret, wrap your knee, and modify where you can. The idea is to challenge, not injure yourself. Also,…

Doing a few more rounds of 3 and 4 isn't going to be a bad thing, if you feel you need to. Get your form down and really make sure you're getting yourself stronger. I was pretty nervous to move on, and tbh, I am struggling with certain aspects of 5 and 6. Coordination is not my strong suit. But I think its a really good…

I'm not sure you're burning as many calories as you think you are...unless you've tracked yourself using a hrm, in which case, please ignore me. You might want to consider upping calories as you're working out a lot. Your body needs fuel and a 1200 calorie diet might be acceptable for someone who is relatively sendentary,…

I just rinse my hair out. My hair is super thick and curly and prone to drying if over washed. I do use argan oil on it when its been towel dried and that's been pretty good for me. x

I'm nervous for Phase 2, too! Excited, but scared. But Jillian got me through the first phase, so we must be doing something right, ey? lol

That's always an option and not a bad one if you really feel you could do with more time to condition your body. But your cardio will stay the same during workouts 3 and 4 (so you've got two more weeks of Running Man!), so maybe give them a go and see how it is? I totally understand how you feel, though, because I'm really…

Yes, I was afraid of that! lol Its a bit of a minefield of information (and sometimes misinformation) so its been quite difficult to sift through it all. Gonna be a bit of trial and error, I think. Thanks for the reply! x

I'm finding all of this very interesting/confusing. I'm really trying to figure out the best way to eat healthily so I'm curious what people are considering "crash"; what amount of calories would be considered too little to engage a starvation type response? I'm netting, on average, 1400 which includes an exercise regime…

Definitely! It can be hard sometimes to see how far you've really come until you've had a chance for a side by side comparison. I know my before and "current" was a shock for me! But it put in perspective all the hard work of which I'd begun to lose sight. I'd really recommend it for everyone!

Wow! You look fab! What a great job you've done. You must feel so proud! Super beautiful. x

Can I recommend Jillian Michael's if you haven't already tried any of her dvds. I've only ever done 30 Day Shred and am in the middle of her newest, Body Revolution; I love it and hate it at the same time! It can be tough, but its only 30 minutes! I've only recently started coming to mfp, but feel free to add me! All the…

Fantastic! You must feel so proud! Great job!

Thank you! And you too, mockchoc! Much appreciated!

This thread is so long and I didn't manage to read it all, so I truly apologise if what I'm about to ask is covered somewhere herein. WHAT?! I had no idea what TDEE was, so I googled it. I, naturally, did all my relevant calculations and got a TDEE of 2137. Now, does this mean to maintain I should be eating this? I've been…

I've only ever done 30DS, but its a good workout. A combination of a lot of the same sort of stuff we do during the first phase, I think. I wanted to try her Yoga dvd when I finish. I'm intrigued by yoga...

My garlic press, v slicer, and scales - would be lost with out them!

Definitely don't give up! What week are you on? I'm going to be starting week 4 on Monday - we should buddy up! I'm feeling really good and pleased with my progress, but I am so scared to start Phase 2!!! lol

Was doing this a while back, but got waylaid by kidney stones, Mom visiting for the first time in 7 years overseas, xmas...and then a plethora of more and more pitiful excuses. But I've started again - am currently on week 3 and really trying to knuckle down and get a whole round DONE. I'm going to be 30 at the end of this…

Hooray for not being the only one who abhors Running Man! lol I can do it now, all the way through, but MAN does it take it out of me. The only thing I've subbed are the suicide runs which I still feel funny about, but I don't have the space to get them done properly, I think. I've been doing butt kicks in their stead.…

My running man used to be dying man, so I feel your pain! But it does get better. Its hard to see it now, but there will be a time you'll look back on it and wonder how you could ever NOT do it.

Yeah, I totally fall all over the place trying to do plank to crescent. I just try and go a bit more slowly than they do so I'm getting my form right. A bit of a wish and a hope that it'll come with time and practice.
-
How is everyone doing? Still going strong, I hope! I, unfortunately, crapped out. I had a horrible attack of pains in my left side and had to be rushed to the ER - turns out I've got kidney stones. I've had a few more attacks and all the toing and froing of appointments and whatnot have made doing all my calorie counting…
