I agree completely. Fast "food" always makes me feel awful, and usually for a few days. I wasn't aware of how much damage it did to me until I began eating real food. This is an important reminder :).

I am continuing to eat well, but I am still trying to figure out the carb/protein/fat ratios that work best for me. However, I am curious about total calories eaten per day. Do you watch your total calories? If so, how many do you eat?

So far, so good :). Eating paleo/primal has been an easy transition, but now I need to focus on eating less calories. I have been finding myself eating more when I have been having carb cravings. I suppose this will pass. I want to try to focus on skipping a meal or 2 this week, a mini fast. I hope everyone is doing well!

So it has been about a week now. I am starting to feel fuller longer, and have actually had to remind myself to eat a couple of times. I feel like the quality of my sleep is better, but the quantity is still lacking.

I bought a couple of pairs of jeans on ebay after I lost 35 lbs. My clothes were falling off of me, but I still have 24 lbs to go, and didn't want to invest a lot of money. Also, remember that this is a quality problem! Congrats on your weight loss.

I am beginning to eat this way. In the past I was successful w/ Atkins, but as soon as I returned to the SAD the weight (and heath problems) returned. I just feel better when I am eating a high protein and fat, low carb meal plan. I usually track my food so I am aware of how many calories I am eating, but I have noticed…

My current go-to is string cheese and 10 almonds. Lots of satisfying protein.
