  • This! I hate cardio! Spin isn't so bad but running is terrible!
  • I just started so I've been working up to the really heavy workouts. I finally went for it today and I don't think I could have done cardio today. It felt great! :) It's exactly why I stopped workout with friends who were working on their pretty muscles...I didn't feel like I was doing any work. I hit it while I'm there.…
  • I have the wierd combination of being a night owl and a morning person (once I'm finally up that is). When I'm finally able to drag my happy out of bed here's what my morning looks like: 4:30 - alarm 4:33 - fall out of bed 4:35 - put in contacts and change clothes 4:40 - grab a handfull of nuts and some water 4:45 - shoes…
  • I get this a lot too. People don't seem to think that you can do it without a magic pill or fad diet. Eat less and move more is what I tell them.
  • I think we have the same mindset!
  • I definitly think it would be worth the money...I guess I need to get more info from them before I really decide.
  • I did find one near my office that offers a free Saturday class and then a free week after that. I was considering that but cost after the trial is the major factor steering me away from it. I was on the CrossFit website and forums for a long time today and found a lot of body weight/running exercises that I was going to…
  • I am really bad about drinking the right amount but to help I have the crystal light packets and I make sweet tea using splenda. The tea really helps.
  • 5'11" and started at 298, which is close. Feel free to add me if you want.
  • Same here. It amazes me how poorly and especially how much I was eating. I used to wonder what I was doing wrong when I was gaining...I could smack myself! I definitely catching myself wondering how many calories a meal is when I haven't prepared it myself. And what's amazing, is that I've gotten pretty good and…
  • My wife has PCOS and she's lost 98 pounds in 11 months. I wouldn't really say she's watching her carbs other than we've cut out all refined carbs (exchanged white rice for brown, wheat bread, using splenda, etc) It's not an impossible hurdle to get over, it just takes some work. Good luck!
  • Completely agree with Jennplus2. If you want that bag of chips, just make adjustments to your daily intake and you'll be fine. I actually found that after awhile of eating better and tracking what I was eating, I didn't want the junk I used to eat. Just didn't want it and after I began seeing how it would affect my totals,…
  • I believe that's before cooking.
  • Not from the UK, but I am a guy. Feel free to add me!
