  • Also, with the whole muscle thing, its pretty much physically impossible for a woman to gain more then 1/2 lb a week, without some kind of steroid.
  • you would want to find your TDEE not BMR for this, but otherwise pretty much how it works
  • We already have tons of members, so I'm not adding any more, but good luck on the way to your goals!
  • I think this will be it, were going to be a bit over 110.
  • I re-closed the group, because I want to limit the number of members, although I'm still good with adding a few more
  • We have quite a few people, so maybe 10 or so more before I stop sending the invitations, just so it doesnt get too huge.
  • Here's the link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/11688-hot-for-summer-2013 I was just inviting, but I figure I can just close the group once we reach a decent amount of people.
  • http://hotbysummer2013.tumblr.com/ It's not so much a typical tumblr, although there are posts were also doing weigh ins and stuff, and motivating eachother
  • I started this blog thing, it's kindof like a group, where we can all check in our weights and measurements and motivate eachother. the blog is here: http://hotbysummer2013.tumblr.com/
  • Not everything is exact, and things are rounded up, so that could account for the extra calories easily.
  • It all depends on what your calorie goal is, if you mean you're eating below 1200, then definitely eat more. According to your BMR, 1,806, you should eat around that many calories, although you could go as low as 1500. Note that I'm talking about total calories, not your net amount
  • It wasn't one thing, just kindof everything building up. I'd been unhappy with my weight for a while, but then i began growing out of all my old jeans. Finally I weighed myself, and was up to 158 lbs. I have never been over 150, and to me this just seemed so much bigger then i had ever pictured myself, as I am so short.
  • Love Nike Training Club, it has the greatest workouts, and they really do seem to help. Theres also a huge variety to try. Also although it isn't specifically a fitness app, I love Day One for journaling about my weight loss, and adding progress pictures, etc. It really is helpful.
  • Banana Brownies are great, even if you eat too many, its all clean food Makes six brownies. Ingredients: 2 Tbs Semisweet Chocolate Chips 1 Tbs Coconut Oil (Optional) 2-3 Ripe Bananas, depending on size 3 Large Eggs 3 Tbs Cocoa Powder Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. • I'd love to do this :)
  • Don't skip on weight training just because it burns less calories then cardio. On that note, also avoid eating back exercise calories, unless you are exercising hard enough you really need the extra food. Also, one of the easiest ways to cut out calories is to eat less carb-ey things, like bread and grains. As for snacks…
  • I would love to be 107-120, wherever I end up feeling comfortable. As for jeans, I'd be good with a 2-4, and measurements basically a waist under 25". Currently Im 5'2" 152 lbs, an 8, and 41-34-41
  • this week I actually gained .6 pounds. I don't know why, it could just be water weight or something, especially since I lost half an inch. I added it as -.6 points, are you supposed to do that or leave it blank if you gain?
  • Do the total calories burned & minutes working out count for points at the end, or are they more just goals?
  • Starting Weight: 64.4 kg/142 lbs Measurements: Waist-80.5 cm/31.7" Hips-98.5 cm/38.8" Neck-34 cm/13.4" Exercise Challenges: Challenger lvl Walking Challenge: Serious Commitment

  • hey, im joy, and have been uncomfortable with my weight for years. I've tried MFP earlier, but could never really stick with it, the longest was a little over a month and a half. I think joining a group might give me that extra little push I need, and being forced to weigh in should be helpful :). I'm 5'2.5 and 142 pounds.
  • Starting weight-142lbs
  • all of the time. I have been on and off dieting for probably two years, but ill be doing good and suddenly think his doesnt really matter, im beautiful just the way i am, then i eat, and look at myself as fat and ugly again. Even when i remember that i am overweight for my height i rationalize it, even though i know im not…
