There are other threads you should read about not focusing too much on BMI. Keep losing until you're happy with how you feel. That might be at a higher BMI or lower BMI than is currently your goal.

Ha! I don't care for the taste of Greek yogurt on its own, so I always mix something in. Honey, lemon curd, jam... High five for curds.

Hated, still hate: coconut, melon, raw tomatoes Hated, now love: vegetables, meatloaf, mushrooms, dark meat chicken, anchovies, butterscotch Loved, now hate: super sweet candy (tastes changed), honey mustard sauce

Breakfast: Greek yogurt with lemon curd, banana, and Kellogg bran buds Lunch: salami & beer cheese sandwich Dinner: TBD

What happened to you? My most recent one was my mom brought two dozen cookies to my house even though I specifically told her not to bring anything, "especially sweets." I think she considered it a victory because she did not also pick up a dozen donuts.

Probably about the same. Both of them are chicken in a cream sauce. If one is made with yogurt instead of heavy cream, or you might save some calories there.

These are great goals and very achievable, but see how you feel after your half. If you're like me, you might be like "F no." My first 5K was 2015, went progressively up to two half marathons in 2017. Part of my problem last year was that I also did an international distance triathlon between the two. Ended up with IT band…

I weigh myself daily, but that drives some people crazy. I'm getting close to my goal, though, so the weight is coming off sloowwwwwlllyyyyy. I weigh daily to get that extra accountability.

This has been a worry with me recently, too! I'm just glad you didn't lose it.

Your local community center or high school may have a track you can use for free. Mine does. Your community center might have a fitness room you can use for cheap; mine is only $100 a year, which is practically free compared to a lot of facilities.

When I almost reached 200 lb. I had slowly gained after getting married (happy weight!), learning to cook (freakin' gorgonzola cream sauce), and stress-eating during law school.

Also a reluctant drinker. For me, these have helped: 1) Lots of herbal tea (also helps keep me warm in a chilly office) 2) New water bottle that contains an inner chamber for infusing water with fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I've been doing a lot of lemon, lime, cut herbs, and plan to do other fruits in summer.

I'm going to have to get my wedding ring resized for this reason!

I have an ice cream maker, too, but I only make the regular kind from my recipe book and try to limit to half-cup portions.

Yeah, sounds like my IT band issues from last year. I got diagnosed at a bone & joint clinic and recommend the same. The doctor can tell give you some light PT to do at home. Runner's knee is usually either pain from deterioration of the actual joint (from arthritis, bone on bone) or from a tight IT band, which pulls your…

I second the Oxo scale!

I don't log it either.

You could be getting sick. Sometimes I'll have trouble for a few days, and I wonder why, and then the cold comes on, which explains it.

The constant food obsession has not gotten any better for me over the last 7+ years of losing. :( I try to distract myself, chew gum, or just tell myself that if I'm hungry, then the weight loss is doing its thing. The hunger and meal obsession can help you plan, though. Planning in advance helps you find good recipes, be…

I do a roast with Indian spices from the book Vegan Indian Cooking by Anupy Singla. Cut up one head cauliflower, one head broccoli, and a tub of cherry tomatoes. Toss with a few tablespoons of oil and a tsp. of cumin, turmeric, chili powder, or any other spices you want. Roast at 400 until edges are crispy. Delicious! I…

I get your sadness on this one. I am coming to the same realization.

I've been using a standing desk for about a year now. My office won't get you a standing desk without a medical waiver, so I just set one up with some boxes. I love it! My advice: get a foot pad or your feet will hurt, be sure to sit periodically (standing all day can be bad for your lower back, so many articles recommend…

I love them. The lemon flavor, apple, PB&J, and cherry pie are my favorites. Sounds like I need to try the key lime pie.

Great loss, and great leggings!!! Love the unicorn / rainbow.

OMG, having a s'more in the middle of a work day at my office sounds amazing. I am so doing this.

Last week: 159.4 This week: 160.0 Goal weight: 150-155 I stayed at sub-160 for a week and a half, edged up after an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet night. D'oh! Back on the wagon.

Holy !!!! That is so awesome and impressive!! Good for you.

Running shoes. Follow a training program. Take it easy in the first half mile or so - a lot of people get excited and try to keep up with the fastest runners, and that's how you run out of steam.

Body glide for sure!
