I highly doubt giving up bread would create this reaction. You might need to replace some of the vitamins that were added to the bread you used to eat. Are you using a multivitamin? If not, I highly recommend looking into a plant-based vitamin. Bread is super-processed and most people naturally feel better after they quit…

I used to do REALLY well on low carb diets, I never bothered to stress about the calories and I pretty much ate whenever I felt like it. I would lose pretty quick and it was nice. But now, I recently tried to do that again and it doesn't work very well for me at all. I lost like 5 lbs in 2 months. That's just not normal…

I started making my own sports bras because ALL of the ones you buy sink in to my lats no matter HOW lean I am they always make me look like I have bra-overhang even if I don't so when I DO have some extra it's like...really hard to see in the mirror hehe. XOXO You all rock, I love this thread.

That's cool you wear spanks, how does it feel when you run with those? I've thought about getting some tights like that just so I feel better when I run because I totally feel like people are looking at my booty, cuz it moves when I run--that's a fact. HAHA! What brand do you get?

Girl, you are awesome!

My favorite chocolate is the Ghirardelli bittersweet choc chips because you can have 16 for just 80 cals!

For ME, running is the best cardio EVER. Nothing else leans me up quite like it. As for walking, I don't really FEEL like I'm getting an awesome workout and I never really have tried only walking as a form of cardio. I walk a lot (we live in Seattle) and honestly--I think running is better if you want fitness and leanness.

The most tricky thing that I learned was that all of the fitness girls on the front covers of magazines only look that good about 3 months out of the year because they diet and train for it like 10 to 12 weeks in advance. ;o)

6 lbs in 10 days is fast weight loss, but with the overactive thyroid (you're a lot luckier than me, mine is slow) it probably will always be a little faster regardless. Medicine can only do so much. You could even bump up your calories a little if you want to make sure. But I think it may steady out the longer you're on…

Hahaha, that made me laugh--I know what you mean. Like it's a sugar monster and will attack if you get close.

Ummm--I kind of thing it's a lifestyle once you change to it. But I do think that you're good to go on auto-pilot for a while if you feel confident about it. I have been doing this for years and I take breaks once in a while. But with MFP I actually am excited because when we travel (travel a lot) I can keep it updated and…

I actually believed that if you lied or said cuss-words you'd get welts/bumps on the back of your tongue, my parents tried to trick me... I quickly learned that was bullcrap!!!

Haha! I used to think that too! Someone told me that to scare me--jerks!

They WILL help build the ab muscles but they wont reduce the fat on the tummy. Unfortunately spot reducing doesn't work, but if you don't have much fat on them anyway, you'll definitely see definition from the increased amounts of muscle. 100 is awesome! ;oD I need to get back to doing those before bed like I used to!

Girl, look at you owning that pose! Great job! ;o)

Are you a lot overweight or just needing to lose a little bit of extra? Sometimes with being a lot overweight your body will plateau and that does stall. Remember, it diet-land, 3 days really is nothing. Just keep going. But if you're working on losing that last bit of extra, it's likely that your body is just adjusting or…

Our legs will always be bigger and curvy but I think when we lean up we look amazing!!! I actually used to have it a lot worse on my legs, but weight training helps a ton. Then when you lean up it looks so nice. Let's be glad we don't have flat booty! I hate that!…

I only log what has calories in it LOL!

I do think going to the doctor is a GREAT idea but I think it's your diet. Regardless of 100 carbs being low or not, what it depends on is how much of a change you have made by switching to eating 100g of carbs. That's not technically low in my opinion, however, if you used to eat over 200 then it is a drastic change. Low…

That's really great progress. And the fact that you took some time off and didn't gain anything says you're totally headed in the right direction--also means your metabolism is working the way it's supposed to! Great work! I can't wait to follow along!!!

Regardless of male or female, the negative ones always get more attention than the good ones. So, it can look like males are jerks or females are *****es, just because the jerks and *****es tend to stand out more.... People suck, sometimes. LOL!

Well, I'm definitely a stress/anxiety/depression eater also. What I do, is I pre-make a lot of my meals for my diet so that I cannot mess up. And if you're having a need for some of that comfort food, just have more of what you're already allowed to have. Clear out the house of any junk foods. If it's not there, you wont…

I know a ton of people who have done this and oddly enough their doctors make them lose weight in order to get the surgery done. Low and behold these people up and lose 15 to 20 lbs just to be able to get the surgery. My thought process is not very pro-surgery in this case, because if they can manage to lose 20 lbs to get…

I feel the same way about breakfast, I just don't want to eat at that time. I'm also one of those types that likes to stay up late instead of getting up early. So, I do know that your metabolism will be better if you eat breakfast, but I don't like eating anything because my tummy just doesn't want food after waking! So,…

I hate it too, it's disgusting. I prefer Fat Free Greek Yogurt! If you get the Fage Total 0% (I think that's the name) it's awesome. It only has that tart yogurt taste w/o the nastiness like cottage cheese clumps. I actually mix this greek yogurt into my protein shakes! Good luck!

I know all about these if you're still into the idea. I actually am a posing suit designer who also competes. I'd love to compete in 2011 but my business keeps me majorly busy! How about you?
