I have lost 66 lbs using MFP... it has taken 13 months. Patience and time.... time and patience. It is really the key

Time and patience... patience and time. I started out at 268 lbs in January 2013. As of this morning I am 202. that is 66 lbs, but it has taken 13 months. Figure out your TDEE and then subtract 20%. Good luck to you!

I checked out the website... Not only did they tell me my "true weight"... but it also let me know that the cost would be $329. my advice would be to use MFP and invest that money in yummy healthy food.

ummm... I think he was being sarcastic

I started at 268 lbs (which I think is close to your weight)... In January 2013.... 13 months ago. As of this morning I am now 204. I had figured that because I was so big that I would drop the weight quickly. It has taken 13 months. If I do the math then that is approximately 1.2 pounds per week. Slow and steady, kiddo.

nice to meet you. I have lost close to 50 and have at least another 50 to go. Feel free to add me

yep... this has been my experience as well. I started at close to 270 (Jan 2013). Lost rapidly and am currently 209, and still losing about 1.5 lb per week... but at 5'3 it is coming off quick because there is still a long way to go :) I also weigh daily and my overall weight can fluctuate 1-3 lbs at times from one day to…

I really enjoy pilates. I use www.blogilates.com and it has helped me feel stronger and calmer
-
Awesome. Thank you In terms of weight loss... should I try to get under my BMR per day then?
-
you can add me if you want. I had my daughter 2 years ago and was 292 lbs. After I "lost" the baby weight I was around 270. Feeling stuck and sad. I am now 214 and still losing. You can do this.

daily. But I don't let it stress me out (I used to get freaked out by normal fluctuations). I have seen the number vary widely, I just chart it on MFP and move on. Overall I can see the graph go down so daily fluctuations don't bum me out anymore

you can add me. I have lost 40, have 80 more to go
-
Hi! I don't know what T25 is but i keep seeing it mentioned. :( Can you fill me in?
-
you are so close to where I was! When I had my daughter I was 292 lbs going into labour. I settled in at 268 and HATED it... Couldn't even look in the mirror for a period of time. Using MFP and walking, pilates, etc I am now 218 and still losing. Feel free to add me if you would like
-
I also have a 2 year old... I have been doing blogilates videos
-
You can add me. I have lost 40... working on the next 80.

Yep... you CAN do this. I have lost 40... have 80 more to go. You can add me if you want... I am on here everyday

At my highest I was 270. I am 219 now. My goal is 140... But at this point I would be thrilled just to get out of the 200's. I have virtually no body image though... Have always been heavier, but I remember being 175 and when I see pictures from that time I think I look pretty good. Feel free to add me... as I said, no…

I am on week 6 of the opti program. I added you
