Yep... Same thing here. Usually up 3-4 lbs suddenly in the days leading to my period. By day 3 of cycle it vanishes.

I went from 270 to 185 (still losing) eating lots of bread.

Honestly... I took a break for a year. Has gone from 270 to 190 (that took longer than a year lol) and I kind of needed some time to just become comfortable in my body. Kept the weight off and decided to start losing again in Feb when I hit 195 lbs.

I started at 270. 185 this morning. You can do this. It takes patience. It takes time. But totally totally doable.

You mentioned "bad foods" I believe very very very strongly that the reason I was 250 - 270lbs for my entire adult life was because I put a moralistic value on food. I ditched THAT mindset, worked on loving myself and fueling my body and am down 85 lbs. You can DO this

Hi! I started around 270 and I think I was eating 1700-1800. I'm down 85 lbs. I tried 1200 and it just made me miserable At 185 I eat about 1400

Yesterday I blew my calories out of the water. Honestly. 3200 in a day. Am really good generally about staying in my deficit. I just logged everything and got back on track today.

Yes. I really only lose weight on day 2 or 3 of my period. Then it stabilizes for month with tiny tiny losses.... Then a big whoosh a month later. I also have a really hard time around ovulation with cravings.

I tend to eat the same foods. I focus on fiber at breakfast and protein for lunch and dinner. Carbs for snacks.

I have a few drinks every other weekend when visiting my friend out of town. I usually fit it into my calories or I just take a break and eat maitnence calories for weekend

I had a baby and didn't want to be in any photos Went out for dinner with hubby and I was 270 lbs. I remember stuffing myself at dinner and my pants were soooooo tight. And I got dessert! In washroom I couldn't even look at my face in the mirror. Now 4 years later and 80 lbs lighter

I have lost about 80 lbs over 2 years. My mom only puts my heaviest pics on display... But she is *like* that lol

Periods are crazy things for weight loss lol. I weigh every day so I see that in my case I gain a pound or two in the days before then around day three of my period I may drop 5-6 just like that. Afterwards it levels out a bit. I agree with other posters... Try daily weight for a month or two and look for patterns

Hi. I am around your height and weight (5'3 and 190). I have read on these forums that mfp may grossly exaggerate the burn from exercise so I agree with others that you are likely not burning off as much as you think. Weigh and measure EVERYTHING and give it a few more weeks. Good luck
