I agree with fasting :) just for one day a week. It makes me evaluate what I'm eating more and I usually have lots of energy the next day.
-
I still think I look the same but my clothing says otherwisewhich motivates me :) also when I run\ work out I can do so much more :D
-
I started at 196, down to 176 now :) my goal is 166 so not too far to go!! Feel free to add me :D

Drink a pint of water before and after your meal :)
-
Just wondering how the intermittent fasting works? Do you fast after 'cheat' days? I'm curious to know as I have seen folk mention it in their plans!
-
I use Quark with an egg, onion, garlic and bacon and add it to cooked pasta for a healthy take on pasta carbonara :D x

I'm all for Gwyneth's healthy advice but she also suffers from early onset osteoporosis due to severe dieting :s according to an old article from the Daily Mail. Seriously Google it :/

Try going to an exercise class as an alternative ie. Spinning, Zumba, crossfit etc. The trainer will push you probably more than a gym workout would and you can meet new people and get healthy support and advice :) it works for me!! Xx

I was a member of Slimming World and honestly loved it's approach to 'real' food <3 however I still was eating more calories than i was burning off. That's why I like the tracking on MFP! :) I still try to put in superfoods into all my meals though o:)
-
For me, it's my clothing- if it's too tight it ain't right!! Knowing that I look and feel comfortable in myself though B)
-
Just keep tracking your calorie intake and try and fit exercise into your routine :) Remind yourself that it's not a quick fix it's a lifestyle change- you'll get there!!
-
You're doing excellent work :) looking fabulous my dear xx

I am posting this because I was eating so much fruit and vegetables on that diet and exercising a LOT: However the weight wasn't coming off :s Now I am tracking everything on MFP and it's working brilliantly. <3 if you are eating more calories than you are burning off, the weight will *not* go. Trust me x

I use a sports bra brand called 'Panache' and believe me it was the best money I ever spent

Hiya! You can add me  I'm back on MFP after a 2 stone weight gain. I'm finding these forums super helpful and motivational too! Oh and my diary is open for all to judge :#

Best of luck! I'm 28 and I live at home too- it's never easy with all that food everywhere :( also trying to lose 30lbs or more!! These forums are so motivationaland give great advice :) you can do it!!

Try a sweetener in herbal tea or 2tsp of sweetener poured onto 2 slices of lemon in hot water. This worked for me :) I hate those sugar cravings!!
-
Fitting in to my clothes again is one of my main motives! I also love attending exercise classes where you can push yourself a bit harder! :)
-
I'm an emotional eater and would eat a lot of food to make myself feel better whenever things got bad. What helped me was swapping one habit for other: if you feel like eating a ton of food, distract yourself by going for a walk, ringing a friend for a chat, etc.. Be aware of your triggers x

I started boxing and running after a hiatus after my weight gain. I didn't lose any weight initially because I was guzzling a lot of calories.
