W1d3 done and dusted And this one was quite tough as I went a different route and every run interval started at the bottom of a hill! Well done everyone on their progress this week, you are all such an inspiration.

Love this! My canteen in work definitely needs a sign that says that, people are way too pass remarkable in my place.

Hello from a fellow newbie - two months and 16lbs down. Welcome to our ever shrinking (in weight not population) family. The people on here are fantastically supportive and knowledgable.

Well done on all the amazing weight losses and progress to date!

I was totally in love with a guy I worked with years ago and a not so subtle co worker said to me one day 'you know you would have him already if you were 3 stone lighter'. Errrr ouch!!! So I totally get where you are coming from.

I've had that, my fat day clothes became my 'need to lose weight to get back into them clothes' I've loved reading all your different stories, it's so interesting finding out how everyone came to be here.

Thanks for all the amazing responses! It's wonderful to hear other people's stories. There were several moments I could point to and say why wasn't that it, like when my adorable brother looked at a very unflattering picture of me and said I looked like a silverback (cruel yes but I think it was his way of a prod - and I…

W1D2 done and dusted. It felt tougher today but I think I jogged at a faster pace as I was much further along the road I ran along the last time when little miss app told me I was half way.

As a fellow bigger girl who has just started running outside I can relate. You can feel very self conscious at first but I have put this down to the newness of it all, just like when learning to drive or being the new girl at a new job. On my run this morning as the rain pelted down and the wind was battering me I decided…

Done this only this week, staying overnight at Manchester before a flight to Florida and phoned the hotel to make sure they had fitness facilities. They do *phew*. Is it weird that I'm excited about the free work out almost as much as my holiday.... Most definitely

Garmin, not far in!!! sorry stupid iPad auto correct!

I have. Far in vivosmart hm. I love it. It is waterproof, tracks how well you sleep in sleep mode, has a non activity monitor (if you don't move for an hour is starts buzzing) it has an alarm vibrate which is actually really effective, it streams your texts, emails and phone calls, and I find the challenges it adds you too…

I find that my vivosmart over estimates the exercise that I do. As well as the exercise machines. So I tend to stick with my daily allowance allocated by mfp for wanting to lose half a pound a week on light activity. I have found that's the best way to not accidentally eat more calories due to an over estimation on the…

I love the twinnings green tea with lemon. It's the only hot drink I have so its a nice change from diet soda and water, but can't say I've noticed any changes due to drinking it.

I don't have a cheat day. If I give myself a license to eat, I will EAT and that would just undo all my good work all week, plus I would end up feeling pretty rotten the day afterwards. Having a cheat day would also make it feel more like a diet to me whereas I'm trying to think that this is just my life now and this is…

If your approach isn't working maybe try increasing your calorie intake, I would double it if I were you and do strength training, I know through the folk on here that actually once your down into the noise (smaller weight losses) it's actually strength training that will change your body and you may look better and even…

Completely second this. If you are only eating 1200 calories a day your body might actually be in shock. Try and eat at the recommended amount for a few months which might make your body relax and start working better. You could be doing a lot of damage that isn't obvious with eating so little at your height, weight and…

Absolutely hit the nail on the head!

Let kick this weights *kitten* together, I keep losing the same 14 lbs and finding it again, every year for the last five years. I've now decided the 60lbs I need to lose I'm getting rid of it whether it wants to go or not. Don't let it win. Get motivated, this is a great support network and the people on here are great.…

Haha! Yup been there done that!

89 you have to charge your iPhone every single day because your on mfp allllllll the time. I've started charging my phone in work to save my home elec bills

I would love to be at 135 lbs for my 35 birthday in January. I have 45 lbs to lose to achieve it :)

Hits, I'm on the 1200 calorie diet. So far I have found it ok, my dinner is lean meat and veg which seems to keep me quite happy, I have porridge for my breakfast and then soup and a sandwich for lunch. I'm not much of a snacker and I was hungry the first couple of days but this is the end of my second week and I seem to…
