I have been advised by others on MFP to log it as circuit training, so that is how I log it. My HRM shows that I burn more calories than the MFP calculation but I always try to underestimate calories burned and overestimate calories in. Its been working so far.

I am currently doing Ripped in 30. Starting week 4 next week . . Will post pictures at the end. Question? To anyone who has done both Ripped in 30 and 30 DS. Which one did you like better and have better results with??

That is hilarious because I did THE SAME EXACT THING last night. I was fitting into clothes that I had not fit into since the summer before last. . . Also found an old weight loss log book I had and saw that 2 yeas ago I was still 10 pounds heavier than I am now. So happy I found MFP and made some great friends.

Good for you girl! I am going to try 30 shred next. I am currently doing Ripped in 30 and am definitely seeing results. I am only on week 2. You should try that next. I love it! I lost about 6 pounds as well.

I felt sore the first 2 days but don't give up, that feeling goes away as you get stronger. Stretch real good before AND after to help. Even stretch throughout the day after working out too. It took me 2.5 months to loose 20 lbs. I did it by watching portions, swapping higher calorie food with lower calorie foods and exercise 6 days a week. Do it the healthy way!

I am in again. March is a hairy month for hiking here in PA but I have already complete 11.5 this week so I am going to try again. I feel like a failure for February. I only completed 30.5. Let's try again!

Between my work schedule and the weather here I fear I may not accomplish my goal of 50 miles but I am still trying. I did 2 today but got hit in the eye with every falling snowflake. Now if we can do this challenge again in april or may I would be golden.

I always go over in sugars too. I reviewed my diary entries and concluded that it is mostly from fruits, vegetables, cheeses and breads. I am not as far along as I had hoped to be. Bad weather here in PA is preventing me from doing the amount of hiking I would like to but I think 35 more miles may still be achievable.

I AGREE!! My dog helps motivate me to go out and hike up and down the mountain for an hour even when it is 15 degees out. A 3 mile hike/walk is a 3 mile hike/walk regardless of whether or not it is with the dog. Plus, it comes up that way when you log in from the MFP database!!

I have been wondering about this as well. I am constantly slightly under 1200 calories a day and on days I workout I am significantly lower, but I do not feel hungry enough to eat all of these extra calories. I might try a snack today but even with the dinner I calculated for tonight I will still be under. Suggestions
