I used to have this problem, it would also happen when I ran. I talked to the lady at my local sneaker store and she told me it was from shoes being too tight across the top of your foot. Try lacing them looser. I had to get new shoes to accommodate my ridiculously high arch, but I've never had the problem since.

I know that when I talked to a trainer (granted this was years ago, but I think it's still true) she said in general machines grossly overestimate how many calories someone burns. She highly recommended a heart rate monitor as being the only way to get an accurate calorie burn count.

I've been vegetarian since I was 13 and have been living with a vegan for the past 4, so I eat mostly vegan. I have to say my biggest struggle has actually been not enough sodium. I know that's pretty rare but since we don't really eat anything packaged and only use salt sparingly in cooking, we were both having a really…

This is totally me. I've been fat my entire life, though I've gone through periods of being more or less in shape depending on what my life was like at the time. At my thinnest I was just under 200 pounds, running everyday and playing a mean game of rugby. I hurt my knee not long after and gained all the weight I had lost…

If you liked Zumba, and you have any kind of video gaming system, they have a new Zumba game out, also, my mom just got just dance for the wii and it's a lot of fun (especially since I'm competitive and NEED to beat all the high scores).

I like to say I'm "almost vegan." I live with 2 vegan roommates and I eat vegan about 85% of the time. I've done a lot of calorie counting over the years and have found that generally, being vegan really helps limit my caloric intake, unless I'm specifically eating some sort of baked goods or something. I'd be more then…
