The only thing that will increase your metabolism is to increase your lean muscle mass. don't have to be a body builder, just workout (yes walking works) on a consistent basis and over time you will build more muscle.

I agree with you - if it sounds too good to be true.......as the saying goes. Common sense, good habits, slow and steady. A combination of healthy eating and exercise works. Fads do not.

Just stop buying it! Give yourself about 30 days and you won't even miss it. It's junk and not good for you. Doesn't mean I don't have one a couple of times a year, but I rarely even finish it. I'm in. Been doing Weight Watchers since 2002 and am looking for a new approach. It's tough thinking about calories instead of Points! I hope this helps me make better choices. I have a hard time, I feel like I am always thinking about food! Anyone else feel the same way?
