Thankfully off my hips and bum first - the spare tire. Woo hoo! Then my face. Arms starting to go down now and my legs too. Yay!

OMG I started crying when I saw your pictures. Even just your face in the after shots looks so much happier! Congratulations on your loss and your 5km - I am aiming to run 5km, that's one of my short term goals, and I am so inspired by your post! Awesome work!

Sandgroper over here, currently living in Perth. Feel free to add away!

Celebrate the wins. Each cm lost, each lb lost. Do it in bite sized chunks. Work on the 10% goal - aim to lose 10% of your weight at a time. I was 176lb, I have lost 10% of that, so am now working towards my next goal of losing another 16lb. Then I will try to lose another 14lb and be at my healthy weight. But these…

Check out C25K. I started off struggling to do the 30 second tun, I'm now up to doing 8 minute run easily...

10 for the awesome loss you have done already!

Perth lass right here. Bit of a munchkin too.

Congrats! I have had several great moments, best one was when I went home the other day after not seeing people for a few weeks and pretty much EVERYONE I saw had something to say.

I have mineral water (or water with gas, or whatever people call it!) with a slice of lemon or lime (or any fruit for a treat - try berries and mint). Still got that zing, none of the calories or sugar

I'. 5'3 and started at 176. At about 159 now

Hey Lisha I'm curvy (usually) but currently squishy. Definitely hanging out to be bootylicious again - have been working hard and eating clean for about 5 months. Feel free to add away!

I eat about 1200 but purely by accident! Just cos that's what I eat...
-
Congratulations Melissa. I am getting married in 5 months - am loving the planning! Sending you lots of strength and motivation for your journey!!!

Arm tone - I want your arms!

I have decided my reward/wind down at the end of the week is a pole dancing class, which I love! So I don't drink Friday night, then I have another class at 10am Saturday morning. I start off the weekend feeling amazing. Then when I do drink I have soda, lime/lemon and vodka

Hey warrior dude. Very inspiring! I have just started running after about 10 years off. At first it was a chore, now it is a joy! Sending you an add

I go to 6am classes. My old gym was nice at 6am, only a couple of people there and the news was on the tv, so I was distracted from the burning muscles lol

I use hot radox baths, heat packs and chamomile tea to combat this. If I can't handle my usual exercise, I just do a gentle walk. Exercise helps improve the cramps I've found (and read!)

Hey Dani Wishing you lots of strength and motivation on your journey. Maybe try walking in the pool and gentle walks, put aside 20 minutes a day for this and increase as you can. Food diaries are also great to see where you are going wrong, once I got the visual of what I was putting in my mouth, my brain clicked and now…

I'm 5'3 - feel free to have a look!

Feel free to check mine out, I'm about 1200, only by accident though, I just don't eat much!

Totally disagree. I am 24 and WILL get back to the size I was when I was 17. I have seen friends who have done it, it can be done. Just look at what has changed (booze? having money to buy crappy food? etc). I obviously didn't drink (much) at 17, but started piling the weight on when I binged throughout being 18+. So I've…

Throw the scales out! Use measurements and photos to keep motivated. And only measure/weigh in once a week at the same time each week, I can move several KGs in one day
-
Happy for anyone to add me. I'm on daily :)
-
Very cool. I said to my fiance last week - "I don't care what my body looks like anymore, I am just amazed at what it can do!!!" (I started pole dancing a few weeks ago and the things I have asked from my body recently have been pretty stressful, and it delivers nearly every time!)
-
Are you taking measurements? I lost 12cm in my first week of clean eating (55cm in 4 months now)
-
I've lost 7-8kg, started in June, but seriously got into it a few months ago (Septemberish) This is from clean eating, my exercise has amped up heaps in the last few weeks

Remind yourself of this moment when you are thinking of snoozing your alarm instead of going for a walk, or when you are going in to eat something that isn't going to do you any favours. I love the saying "A year from now, you will wish that you started today". So make this minute a life changing minute. Sending you hugs…
