And don't be discouraged for not being in the "fat burn" zone. A lot of people will tell you that it's a myth anyway. Even if it isn't, why be discouraged about working harder? Just keep at it and the results will come.

I should've mentioned that my body fat was going down gradually. I didn't drop 11.7% from one measurement to the next. I was losing about 0.8%/week. If my scale was off, it was at least consistently off.

I've really bad knees so I took up swimming about six weeks ago. I go about 4x/week for 40-60 minutes each time. I wear my HRM every time and usually burn about 10 calories/minute. I'm loving it so far.

My diary isn't open but I can tell you that the foods I eat don't vary much from one week to the next.

Last week I ate a net average of 1552 calories/day and lost 4.25lbs (with three 30-minute walks). This week I ate a net average of 1828 calories/day and lost 7.25lbs (with no exercise at all).
