I think if you add other ingredients to the potatoes when mashed, then add them as mashed potatoes. Another idea would be to put it in your recipes and that way you get the true amount of calories. It has taken me a little while to get used to it, but I finally can say that it's getting a little bit easier. At the beginning I was always hungry and I suggest you follow the suggestions that Connie's trainer gave her, they are excellent. I also chew gum sometimes and makes me forget that I'm hungry. The kind of calories you eat have a great impact on your weight loss goals, so it would be nice to see what you are eating. Clean eating is crucial, processed foods are not the best.

I have a food scale and has become my best friend. I measure a lot of my foods now and it gives you an idea how much a portion really is. The biggest shocker for me was measuring pasta, believe me 2 ounces is a very small amount, but that is what I eat now.

You can look at mine, by the way, I eat a lot of food in a day. It's getting easier to maintain the calories lower than the goal. I have mine set at 1,500 not 1,200 like it wanted to set it for me. I knew that would have been very frustrating for me to keep up with. I will add you and maybe we can help each other.

I would make more dinner so I can have leftovers for lunch. There is a lot you can do with that, sandwiches, another meal with vegetables, soup, etc. You just have to be a little creative, but I love leftovers!!!

Have you tried changing things up a bit, like the workouts? Also try new recipes that are healthy and listen to really upbeat music! These are the things that help me sometimes, not that I have lost that much weight to begin with, but it's just an idea. Good luck!!!
