I have exactly the same problem. I typically run during my lunch hour during the week, except on Thursdays when I take my Grandma for her allergy shot. On Thursdays, I seem to wake up starving, I have to really watch what I eat and yet I still go over on my calories. On the days that I run, I sometimes have to force myself…

I've ran twice this week for a total of 8.5....makes a monthly total of 34.58 for the month. I am so excited. I am hoping to make up for last month being short!!

I allow myself 3 Hershey Kisses after lunch. Unfortunately, sometimes, they overcome me and I end up eating more, but at least I'm not craving a big hunk of chocolate, I guess.

Ran 4.04 miles today...total for the week is 10.19...total for the month is 22.23 miles.

I love the Runkeeper App for the iPhone. I believe there are certain brands of HRM that are compatible with it as well.

I just didn't have it in me today...I only ran 2 (walked 2 more, but I'm not counting those)...total for month 18.2 miles.

Only 2 miles for today...5 for the week... total for the month 38.62..short a little over 10 miles this month, but I'm okay with that. I'll just work harder for February since it's a shorter month anyway!

Added 3 miles to today. That puts me at 36.62 miles for the month. I know that I am going to fall short of my 50 mile goal for the month since I haven't ran in 10 days, but I am still proud of myself for making it this far!

Add 4 miles for me so far today, please. I may try to run after work with my daughter, but I dont usually have the energy for that. Total for Week 2 so far is 8.25 miles and for the month is 19.25 miles. And to missjelika: NEGATIVE NUMBERS!!!!:noway: It hits much below 40 and I'm wimpering!!!!

I cleaned on Monday--put away the Christmas decorations; dusted about 3 weeks worth of dust & soot off of the furniture; vacuumed & mopped the house (possibly killed the vacuum); scrubbed two bathrooms; and washed & put away many, many loads of laundry. Definitely! That's kind of the direction I was headed, but wanted to check. I will fix my ticker and make sure to only post running miles. This gives me more incentive to keep those legs moving when they want to quit! :tongue:
