Yes I counted cigarettes. Like I said in my OP I'm slightly OCD. However, what difference does it make WHAT I counted. Would it be any more or less odd if i'd counted cars, birds, or the number of people I passed? The fact that there were 300 butts in a 2 mile stretch is still ridiculous.

When I got engaged and married (18 years ago) the common practice was 2 months salary. This is pretty close to what I spent. We then ended up spending the other 10 months worth of salary to pay for the rest of the wedding. If we had it all to do over again, we would each get simple plain gold bands, and elope alone.

I have not had surgery, but a friend of mine did. He lost a lot of weight initially but gained nearly all of it back. The key is to continue to eat the smaller portions otherwise your stomach will stretch (again) to accommodate the larger intake and you'll be back at square one. This is what happened to him.
