I make an effort to keep those in line / fulfilled, because I don't want to look "skinny".... I want to look "awesome". There are plenty of unhealthy ways to lose weight. I want to do it the healthy way.

good idea, I have citrus trees so i'll have some tangerines and lemons today :)

I agree with measuring what you don't eat, if you wanna get really specific. I'm way too lazy to do that and either use it as an excuse to have a glass of milk before bed, or, pretend I did eat the whole serving just to stay on the safe side with calories. Haha!

Think of it like this: If it is not in demand.... it will not be produced. I agree with PP's who say to contact them! A company is not going to waste it's money producing a product for an invisible customer. You have to let them know you want their product. Maybe a bad analogy, but at my work, we never carried baby…

I'm 5'9" and currently 165. I think i could actually stay at this weight if i lost fat and put on muscle. My goal weight for now is 130 but I very well may adjust it to be higher after I see how my body starts looking with strength training.

I'm a work in progress.... first I had a 10-year-running eating disorder, then I went through recovery. I fell in love, and got pregnant in 2008-2009, where I gained a LOT of weight, not having any clue what normal eating was and trying to do my best for my child. in 2010 i lost a good chunk of that weight.... and then put…

SO glad I asked this question before going at a 0-500 net for TOO long!! i will check out your photos, rachel. I have a history of eating.... very poorly. being diagnosed with eating problems. But now that I have a child to care for I NEED to be healthier. I want to do it right this time. I want to be as healthy and fit as…

having a net of 0-200 means that you're only giving your body 0-200 calories to live off of. (Yes that includes when you eat 1600 and then burn 1400) so we've basically been starving our bodies, slowing down the metabolism, and hyping up it's ability to quickly and effectively store FAT as we consume it! And that is a…

I just found this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/10589-for-those-confused-or-questioning-eating-your-exercise-calo it answered my questions and BOY was I mis-understanding the point of the NET category!

this was me at my heaviest RIGHT AFTER i gave birth to my first and only child. It's now 3+ years later and I've lost weight... and gained some back.... so here I am again trying to lose again but using more permanent, habit forming, healthy changes. thats a good question. I don't life so I don't have a clue. I just do toning strength/resistance training. But I haven't noticed any issue conflicting with yoga. I imagine heavy lifting is much different.

I've also tried to replace water for any drink whenever i can stand it. I used to NEVER drink straight water. Now I drink several glasses a day and my skin has cleared up too. I always knew it was the better option but it doesn't taste as refreshing when I was drinking my calories.

whaaa? I must try

Mustard instead of Mayo to moisten a turkey sandwich. I haven't started many swaps yet so thanks for making this post!

I 100% agree with the way beckimg said it! I don't plan on depriving myself for the rest of my life, and I also don't want to gain weight as soon as I start allowing myself, so I am more training myself to maintain a healthy diet with regular exercise and smart food choices-most of the time.

I do. Last week, the night i had a treat, was also my day off from the gym, so I did some home exercises to *just* get back under my max net. However, today I had already burned about twice as much at the gym as normal, so I have a lot of room left. I SHOULD use that as a victory but I'm using as an excuse to allow myself…

i usually do it as i';m deciding. Im not prepared enough to know the day before and I like to see how it'll adjust my nutrition totals. I sometimes add a few things to see how the numbers shift before deciding. Other times I'm already eating and put it in knowing i'll be fine.... and sometimes i wait a few hours after and…
