my rates have easily been in the 170-190 range which is at my aerobic and even close to anaerobic range for me. so thats a good thing, right? and I noticed power walking is in the 150-170 range with is the "fat burning" range more-so

I get the kind of a workout (exactly what you said, gasping and jelly legs, lol) on the elliptical with a higher resistance. I do that at least 3 times a week on top of my usual other gym routines.

Yes, its perfectly fine. I work two days a week (stay home with my son) so my days off work are the days that I make it to the gym. Then the 2 days that I work are my days off the gym. I also alternate workouts. I do weights every other day and cardio everyday. Muscles need time to heal to prevent injuries.

both exercising and eating better. I have lost 2 inches this year in my chest, natural waist, belly, and hips. My weight hasn't changed much though, but I am building muscle.

ohh, thats tough. I get the most out of aerobics classes , but even then its only around 350 for an hour. OR, actually, on the elliptical i could burn 700 in an hour (with it set to 10 resistance, makes a huge difference)... but i never make it past 30 minutes. lol

haha! I have about 5 boxes of "skinny clothes" as well.... small shirts and size 5-7 jeans.... i too plan to give them away... at least the jeans... i dont think i could fit into them again anyway when I'm done. They were from my teenage years and I have mom hips now. :p but the shirt I'd love to fit into again

it depends. it mostly helps me add to the list of foods that are healthy options. Lets me see things I may not have thought of eating.... options of more variety. I like to look at other people's diaries who are already in good shape. lol. Obviously it's working, right? haha. So those are motivational.

My goal is set to 30-something but I'm actually not sure about that because I plan on toning up and adding muscle... so I don't know exactly what I will weigh when I get to the body I want. Basically I plan on losing anywhere from 20-35lbs. lol. Wide range, i know. I'm 166 (at 5'9") now if that helps make sense.
