  • SW: 212.6 CW: 206.6 Lost 2.2 lbs this week. Not sure how that happened but I will take it. LOL Total lost: 6 lbs!!! YAY
  • You look amazing! Great story! I have to say you mentioned your stretch marks in the post, I noticed them but in a good way. It shows how hot us moms can look with our "tiger stripes" as my husband likes to call them. Amazing job!
  • I am 6 ' 0", my current goal is 160 lbs. I have been as low as 148 but I was only eating 1200 cals a day and working out 1.5 hours every day without fail. Needless to say I wasn't healthy. I find I start looking good around 170 or so, but that last 10lbs really makes a difference in my face and overall shape. Can't wait to…
  • When I need motivation, I look at pictures from when I was my goal weight. It helps remind me that I have done this before, I can do it again, it was just as hard then and I still got there. :)
  • SW: 212.6 CW: 210.4 Total lost: 2.2 lbs Think it would have been more but I am very sore today and am pretty sure I am retaining water. Oh well, we will see what happens next week.
  • The best advice I can give is if you know there will be a day in the week were you will definitely go over, plan for it. Stay under your calories starting about a week before to make up for the amount you will be going over that day. If you can't do this, just do the best you can. Make the best choices possible and maybe…
  • First, be careful not to go too low on calories. You should be eating AT LEAST 1200 cals a day, plus eating back at least some of the calories you burn from working out. From what you are saying, you are not fueling your body. Second, take measurements and don't get hung up on the scale. There are so many examples on this…
  • Good shoes Good sports bra (Lots of jumping in my workouts) Adjustable Dumbells
  • 6 ft even, looking to weigh between 160 and 170 depending on how much muscle I put on between now and then.
  • It's not slacking if it works!
  • I am currently doing Chalean Extreme, though I know a lot of people on here aren't a big fan of it because it is not true weight lifting. However, it works for me, I am seeing great gains in strength and at least for now is what I am going to stick with until I outgrow it. I have also been recommended Stronglifts 5x5,…
  • Definitely add in strength training. The way it was put to me is that cardio is what you do to become a smaller version of what you are right now, weight lifting is what you do to CHANGE the shape of what you are right now. Do both and you will have a smaller body that is the shape you want. Before my most recent pregnancy…
  • What kind of exercise are you doing? If it is just cardio that could be part of your problem. When I lift weights my body changes shape much faster than cardio alone and I lose inches where I need it (my stomach).
  • March 24th- 212.6 March 31st- 211.2 Down 1.4 lbs
  • So excited! I am starting at 212 lbs gained all of it from my most recent pregnancy. My target for now is 170 lbs which was my pre-pregnancy weight. I am 6 ft 0 in, and 20 lbs would put a big dent in my goal.
  • What a transformation! You are doing an amazing job. Take a second to pat yourself on the back, cause you have done AWESOME!!!
  • I am in! Doing strength training as well so I will be happy with a little less than 20 if that happens. So long as I look like I lost 20 lbs
  • There is a big difference, especially in the waist! Way to go!!! Keep it up, change is definitely happening
  • Thanks for the idea. I always dry my clothes in the dryer, and when they come out they are still loose on me. I actually put my jeans through the wash twice yesterday just to make them shrink more and it didn't help. They are loose when they come out and falling off of me if I wear them the whole day. As for measurements,…
  • I wish I could check it. I don't currently have a way to measure body fat, but that would be awesome. Do you have a way you measure that you could recommend?
  • So true, I know I am over thinking it. And yes there are some good changes in the mirror. I am really not worried about it, just curious for other experiences. I know measurable results will be here soon enough, just entertaining myself until then.
  • Thanks J_bark. I get what you are saying, but even when your body starts changing shape logic would say that measurements would change with body composition. This isn't my first weight loss journey, I lost 40lbs after my first pregnancy and maintained that loss and fitness level for 4 years until my last pregnancy. So I…
  • First off, I would highly recommend CLX, it is an awesome program that would complement T25 well. If you do plan on doing it I would advise that you use weights and get HEAVY ones. I got half way through the program (stopped bc I got pregnant) and at the half way point I had already outgrown my adjustable 25 lb dumbbells I…
  • You already have some great ideas here. I definitely agree that letting a baby cry does not help you enjoy your workout and just doesn't seem like the right solution. I am in the same situation with a 4 year old and a 3 month old who is cutting 6 teeth at once, so I am currently working out after the two are in bed.…
  • I am 6 ft and my goal weight is 160. I have been this weight before and felt my best at this weight. Not too hard to maintain and still feel lean and feminine.
  • Great point. I wasn't really thinking about the OP when I posted. Was kinda spastically posting cause I was so excited. oops :ohwell:
  • Thanks for the recommendations. I will bookmark them for a later date when I am needing a change. Not really looking for a different program at the moment though. Like I said, I actually had awesome results with Chalean Extreme but got pregnant half way into the program and was forced to stop because my doctor put me on…
  • I see your point. Perhaps I am simply being overly sensitive, come to think of it, my husband might have mentioned that recently... I guess I was just kinda surprised by how the post was taken. Was just trying to give her a thumbs up and show she is an inspiration, even if it inspired something a bit different than…
  • I understand that Chalean extreme is not "Lifting Heavy", but it is what I have to work with at the moment and something that I have had great results with before my most recent pregnancy. It is a good stepping stone for me at this moment. It is fine if you hate it, but what you and Reality_Is_Ha just did was beat up on…
  • DANG!!!! If you are not an inspiration for us women to weight lift I don't know what would be!!!! Now I am wanting to run and pull out my Chalean Extreme videos....
