Cycling is awesome! Great workout that you can do longer than running without alot of pain.(ie burn more calories) Cycling also tends to be a group activity, so you end up meeting friends who keep you motivated. If you integrate some good hill climbs into your rides you will definitly tone your legs, core and butt :)

I wouldnt make any changes just yet, you've lost some weight already it seems, so just keep at it - sometimes you body just lags a little. If you got 2 weeks or so without shedding in lbs, then I'd look to make some changes, mostly make sure you eat the right foods in additional to meeting your calorie goals. Also be sure…

Impressive! Good Job!

Walking is actually pretty good. Anything that raises your HR up, jumping jacks, burpees, leg-lifts, crunches.

if you not getting stronger/bigger then its all about eating more. Food is your body's building blocks, your body can't build anything without enough blocks :) Shoot for 400 calories above BMR to gain, that should be around 1lb of week or so, if you do that and aren't gaining then up it by 100 or so, or if you gain to much…

Head over to www.bodybuilding.com - a tremendous amount of really solid info on just that sort of topic.

I use a app for my iphone called Strava - it GPS tracks my distance. You can also, map your distance using web sites like mapmyrun.com

That's probably a big reason...but on the bright site you get dibs on all the guys 6'3 plus! :)

Hmm, it almost sounds like you are underweight if 1200 calories a day is "gaining" you weight. What are your stats (height, weight, age)?
-
around 1200 should be good. You may need to adjust +-100 depending on how your own body is. The BMR calc's use generic formulas; your body may be different. Good well soon!

that sounds more like your Obliques. Generally though you want to target all muscles to grow, especially the big mucle groups like Chest, Back, Legs. Focus on big compound exercises and the smaller muscles will follow.
-
Are you increasing the intensity of your workouts? You're body will adapt, yours might be extra "helpful" in adapting quicker. :) Try to push your workouts a little harder each time, maybe mix things up...

Great Job! Way to stay motivated!

when you "bump" a forum post - you send it back to the top of the forums. Most forums are set to display active (most recent posts) at the top.

Water, LOL :)

That was sort of confusing, but you should eat the calories your burn. MFP's goal puts you at a weight losing deficit, so eat away and enjoy your hard workouts :) You have to remember, that your "maintain" calorie target will do just that - maintain. if you burn 500 extra calories you will lose weight so if you want to…

Good old fashioned calisthenics are great for building muscle and staying lean. Pushups, Sit-ups, Jumping Jack, Flutter Kicks, Body Squats - all give a great heart and body workout. And they can be done anytime – no gym needed :)

You seem to be workout more than enough. Do you have a Heart Rate Monitor? If not, that will tell you more on how much your body is being pushed. Other than that - What is your diet like?

Good Job!

Food is energy. If you can't get enough rest, then try to eat food thats give you sustained energy. Veggies, Fruits, carbs...avoid the high sugar junk food, you'll eat less since you body will have better energy sources.
