  • Thank you for the feedback. First, to answer some questions, I have these numbers from the IPOARM and also using another website to verify. I originally thought my TDEE was off, as well so I wore my HRM for 24 hours on 4 different days and it averaged close to what IPOARM gave me (it was actually 50 or some cals higher,…
  • I really want to just eat my BMR and call it good.... WHY IS YOUR BMR SO MUCH HIGHER THAN MINE THOUGH! lol
  • What was your old username? Maybe post a topic with that username in the title saying you're looking for this person?
  • OHHH also, you could try looking at your old profile (if you didn't deactivate it) and see who your friends were.
  • Another idea would be to search the forums for something he may have said or asked.... or just keep bumping this post so it comes up at the top of everyones list all day and maybe he'll see it and be like whoa that's almost my username lol
  • Go on a computer you use frequently and look at your history. Chances are, if you were supportive of this friend, you'll find his page in your history somewhere.
  • I used to be obsessed with crystal light made with hot water.... mmmmm
  • I'd hit that....
  • Have you had your HRM calibrated properly? That's a big burn! You should aim to NET your goal in calories at the end of the day. Have some pb on toast (300cals) or some chips and guacamole (250ish) or some dried fruit (handful of dried banana chips 200+cals) Maybe skip that second workout.
  • lose 1% body fat, lose 1 inch from each thigh, my butt, and my hips. Lose 8 lbs. Fit into my last pair of pre-pregnancy jeans that are still too tight.
  • I haven't done that video but my guess is that it's more cardio. I dance ballet and always count it as cardio. If you're going to add some weights to your plies, then yeah, maybe you could say it's strength training...
  • Wait, are people measuring their hips, like, with your butt? Or, above your butt? Or..... I measured right where low-rise pants would sit... the widest part of me but not my butt.... does that make sense? Is that correct?
  • Oh, man, I struggle with those areas, as well. Lately, especially, I've been bummed out because though I've gained lean mass (and lbs, obviously) and lost 7% body fat, all my measurements have gone up... Except my height. Why can't I gain weight and grow taller? Height: 5'1" Weight: 120-125ish? BF%: 20 Hips: 32 Butt: 36…
  • I love Tony Horton.... I feel like I've lost a close and supportive friend since I stopped doing p90x workouts on a regular basis.... As for long driveways... Mine is hellaaaaaaaaa long. I mean, it took 3 hours!! I actually really enjoy shoveling though and the weather was beautiful and my neighbors were all out as well.…
  • I mostly agree with the above posters... it's probably a) some emotional stress you're unable to cope with at the moment or b) a lack of calories or nutrients in general so that your physical body is taking over to compensate through bingeing. Are there certain foods you're bingeing on or craving? Sometimes if it's one…
  • search for In Place of a Road Map (IPOARM) and use that spreadsheet to calculate your calories. I think it's much more accurate than MFP and even other websites because it's so thorough and detailed. Good luck
  • drowning amidst all the dating posts, it seems... hahaha come on people, I can't be the only one who has agonized over this detail of my fitness and eating!
  • congratulations, sounds like you're off to a great start! don't forget to take into account that when you dramatically change your routine your body take a little while to adjust so in the first few weeks of a new eating style you will likely see more lbs dropping than later on. don't give up though, great job!
  • I have talked to the coach (who actually noticed him during a lesson and brought it up to me that he seemed bored) and he's had an assessment and been to one practice with the team and skill-wise, he's fine and meets all the requirements. 45 minutes into the practice, he began to get tired and the coach noticed and did…
  • Close but for me.... Expectation: Do something. Anything. Reality: Netflix
  • I drive a white car with four doors and the back right window doesn't open. What else could possibly be relevant? ETA: I don't need a new car but it could be nice to fix the window. Also, maybe some hub caps for my winter tired so people don't think I'm as poor as I am... hah
  • On average, I'm trying to net around 1400, usually eating 2000-2500 to make that happen as I dance ballet (for cardio) every day as well as weights (using a modified version of NROLFW) and HIIT 1-2x each/wk. As for food, my diary is open, I tend to be around 100g carbs, mostly veggies and fruit, any grains are sprouted or…
  • Anyone? I might be pmsing and therefore feel that without any responses I may have a breakdown.... kidding... sort of...
  • Expectation: Log in to MFP to log my food and exercise then use the rest of the afternoon to do chores and be productive. Reality: Log in to MFP to log my food and exercise then use the rest of the afternoon to do nothing on MFP. Like this. At least I already worked out today :/ lol
  • use a heart rate monitor
  • bump to watch during kiddos nap time :)
  • e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. DAMMIT
  • Oh, and for other workout ideas: running/ jogging, jumping rope/jumping jacks, and calisthenics (things like sit ups, pushups, leg raises, etc) are good for at home. 10 minute solution videos can also be easy to find on youtube, not my personal favorite but they get the job done. If you have a gym membership or access to…
  • I'll put in my vote for polar monitors. I've had mine almost 2 years and still my absolute favorite and most useful piece of workout attire I've ever purchase. As for the workout, here's my extremely unscientific and untested guesstimate based on my personal experience and my own body and results. Also, Many users find…
  • I apologize, I didn't mean to post in the wrong forum, I guess I thought support/ motivation wasn't just about fitness. I just wanted to be taken seriously, and chit chat fun/ games didn't seem to be an appropriate place to receive serious answers. As for the other response, thank you, that's helpful information. I do…
