I know every word to Shoop, and have choreographed a number of routines to this song over the years, in the privacy of my bedroom.

My lips are so quivering right now....I'm at work and can't stop thinking about what I would do to that burger if I had my hands wrapped around it.

Steamed until just tender. Served with some fresh ground black pepper.

I was rushing around my apartment, late for work, and trying to find the keys to our truck. It turned out that my husband had mistakenly taken them to his office. I walked the streets of our downtown, to get my keys, and get out to work. I was so frustrated, irritated, I hate to be late, and I felt inconvenienced. By the…

90% of the time I remember the happy moments easier than the sad. But there are some sad memories that will always be a part of me.

Thanks so much for the input. When I had originally looked at some of the training plans, my mileage seemed to be in line with their long run days, and for many of the beginner plans the longest training run was 10 miles. I really appreciate the guideline for tapering as well, that had me a bit unsure.

Just. Wow.

I thought appendix too - I know that it is on the right side, and approximately where you are talking. It can become inflamed from different things, and be like that for a while, but if it ruptures, look out because sepsis is your next stop.

I do believe that you have solved all of my problems - and here I thought that fruit was a healthy alternative to desert. Forget that noise, pass the black forest cake!

I'm also running my first 1/2 on October 19th. As this is my first road race, my goal is to complete it. Honestly, I have no set time that I want to cross the finish line in. I have a rough idea of what my time will likely be, given my training pace etc. but, I'm not going to commit to trying to make a time. Here are some…

My long runs I'm out the door by 6am, especially on days where we have high humidity. Those are Saturdays or Sundays. As for my varying distances week day runs, I usually hit the pavement after the kids have settled into bed, so, around 8PM. It's actually giving me some good incentive to incorporate some speedwork now that…

I've used a personal day to enjoy a mid-week day time run.

The Tragically Hip - I'm like, meh.

Excuse me, but what about all those starving people out there in my back alley. They would kill to have a salad, with hair in it even. Time to pull up your big girl socks, and suck it up. Besides, the experience just may put hair on your chest. . . .try explaining that one when it winds up in your wine!

Frame size can play a lot into this too. I am 5'11, and currently hovering around the 180 mark (+/- for natural daily fluctuations, glycogen stores, water weight etc.) I started at 208, in a size 14, and I am currently wearing 8s and 10s. I have a larger frame size, and the lowest my weight has ever gone was 165, but it…

Peanut Butter isn't bad for you. I eat it every morning in my oatmeal. But, your question is about alternative toppings for toast: Mayonnaise, tomato, avocado and black pepper Cheese and honey Cucumber, salt and pepper Banana, cinnamon and honey Hummus Avocado Egg Bacon (even better is bacon on top of Peanut Butter)

Absolutely wear them...when I wear my heals I'm usually around the 6'3 or 6'4 mark.

Thanks for the motivation - I was just thinking last night that I need to work my calves more than I do now.

I would suggest trying to get up at 5:30 and getting in a good 25-35 minutes routine - strength with some HIIT. Your walking home is exercise, maybe switch it up and jog some of it, start to run etc. Also, what are you doing between 12:20 and 2PM when you start work? That could be used for reading/homework so that you can…

Hi All I'm 31, mom of 2. I run, downward dog, lift, do DVDs and pretty much anything else that I think sounds like it's worth a shot. I'm almost at my goal weight, scale number wise, but I'm not really worried about that like I was in my teens and 20s. I love to cook, love to bake, love my red wine and love to support and…

I eat oatmeal every morning for breakfast. I eat at about 6:45 or 7am, and I'm full until at least 10AM - perfect time for a morning snack. Anyway, I microwave 1/3 cup of quaker oats with 2/3 cup of water. Then I stir in 2 tbsp of ground flax, 2 tbsp of reduced fat peanut butter, 1 tbsp of honey and 1/2 cup of milk.…

I have a waist belt from the running room. It holds 1 16oz bottle, and has 2 mesh pockets for fuel etc. I had to add on another little pack to hold my phone. I only wear it for my long runs though, but, based on the placement of aid stations, and that there will be a gu station at my 13.1 in October, I don't plan on…

body-glide or vaseline to help with the chafing. Also, you could try some compression gear.

Meh...not that great. Now THIS has me foodgasming

I use it in place of sour cream. Try adding some chopped up fruit, nuts, and a drizzle of honey/syrup. Stir in some jam. Umm....it's good for smoothies and using in recipes too.

I used to drink it with 2 cream and 2 sugars ages ago. After I gave up coffee during pregnancy, I just taught myself how to drink it without all that other stuff...but, it has to be quality coffee.
