Yes - Herbalife was also my downfall - powder in the milk for 2 meals which was way too much protein and this gave me kidney stones...

My husband is like this - he eats whatever he wants - loads of chocolate - and never gains weight - but when he is full, he leaves the last morsel on his plate and no one can make him eat it ! I guess, his brain just tells him STOP !!! Wish mine would do the same ... :-)

Yes - I have to perhaps save some kcals on Fridays and eat them on Saturday instead ... could also do my housework dancing... so I get a few more extra kcals ... anyway thanks to all who replied with great suggestions !

Thanks guys - yes, I will look at the entire week rather than Saturday only. Usually, during the week I am just about right and on Sunday, I have some time to exercise and so it's ok too. Planning is not my strong suit ... I usually decide 1 hour before what I am going to have for dinner

Yes, I understand very well - for me this is happening when I am tired. My brain tells me TO EAT to get energy but in fact I should take a rest.

For me no soda but I LOVE anything sweet. I have found out that if I have bread for breakfast, the cravings get worse. Also what helps is eating good fats, also supplements - what works best for me is evening primrose oil

I agree with you folks ! It has taken many months to bend my head around the fact that I should use a food scale. My husband only shakes his head every time he sees me ... nevertheless, I always thought a Banana was roughly 120 grams but the ones I eat are more like 240 gramms !

I agree with your post. I would be the person who gained 29 pounds without being able to lose it quickly. I have always been that way - compared to my friends, I always had to eat less to keep my weight. We are like economical cars, we don't need much gas:laugh:
