Love the mindset of Bshmerlie!! I also have a 100 lbs in a year goal - I tried last year but got sidetracked. I lost 40 and gained back some. My total down right now is 33.5 lbs and I am totally OK with that because it's progress!!

I second chili! We've always had some made into sausage- both breakfast and regular. Tip for burgers: usually they mix pork fat in to make it workable and keep the meat moist, problem is it tastes like regular burger then and it's not needed- mix a teaspoon of mayo into each patty and it will still taste like venison. YUM!…

I weigh in on Friday mornings. Today is 2-3 days before TOM for me. I *rocked* this week both in my diet and at the gym and lost a whopping 0.6 lbs according to my scale this morning. It was a loss.. but still. If I didn't need the structure of weighing in weekly I would stay away from the scale arouns TOM.
