I need ideas on how to use venison burger in different things.

I already use it in most of the things I'd use hamburger for:
Hamburgers
Spaghetti
Tacos
Meatloaf

Got any other ideas?

Thanks!

I second chili! We've always had some made into sausage- both breakfast and regular. Tip for burgers: usually they mix pork fat in to make it workable and keep the meat moist, problem is it tastes like regular burger then and it's not needed- mix a teaspoon of mayo into each patty and it will still taste like venison. YUM!

If you have steaks they are *amazing* if you let them marinade in apple cider for the day.

Chilie is always good, shepards pie, stuffed peppers, could use it in stuffing and stuff a chicken or turkey with it. Use lipton onion soup mix and make burgers for the grill.

I will have to try that I have a couple nice back strap steaks.

    Chili!

I also use it to make home made cheeseburger mac! I use fresh shredded lowfat cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, skim milk, my own seasonings and whole wheat pasta (whatever shape my kids want or is on sale). Brown your venison with onion, add seasonings, 1 cup of cheese, 1 cup of tomatoes, milk as needed. Cook on low until cheese is melted and you have a sauce, add cooked noodles and voila'! Much better for you than the boxed version and you know exactly what goes in it :)

This s a great versatile jambalaya recipe. I've made it several ways, with just sausage, with chicken and sausage, with sausage and moose burger, etc. I've never added shrimp but plan to next time I make it. Anyway... For a bit extra heat, use diced tomatoes with chilis and extra hot sauce.

A woman I used to work with made her own sausage with venison and moose burger. Not sure what spices she used but I'm sure you could find recipes by googling. All I remember is that she used Penzey's spices

I made tator tot casserole with it the other night, all the things you named, the chili, mix some salsa and an egg in when raw then make burgers, very good. The egg just helps keep the meat together as the salsa tends to make them fall apart. I have subbed it in anything I would use hamburger for.

...salisbury steak, ,meatballs, stuffed shells, any casserole (rice based/lasagna/mexican), breakfast tacos, omelette (sp.), pitas, soup (italian or mexican), little empanadas, quesadillas, homemade hamburger helper-type meal, stroganoff seasonings still go well with ground venison...

I second chili, venison is the best in it. We also use it for anything you'd use ground beef for: stuffed peppers, casseroles, soups, meatloaf (made in muffin tins), spaghetti. We've also made sausage with it and it's delicious.
