I hear you on this. My 12yo son is 5'5" and does not legally weigh enough to be out of a booster seat in our province. He is 76 pounds. He, however, NEVER stops eating!

I am currently reading "Atlas Shrugged". While I still have a long way to go, the book and characters in it, are pissing me off.

I am the office manager for a Redi-Mix cement plant and I wear jeans and a bunnyhug to work every day. It is very dusty and someone is always managing to get grease everywhere, so I am not going to wear nice clothes, just to get them ruined.

Bread makes me crave everything that is bad for me. I rarely eat any bread/grains anymore. However, when I do want a splurge, I make sure I follow with eating a healthy dose of protein. This usually keeps my cravings in check.

^^^Yes! I have four kids and we do not even allow fruit juice in the house! Better idea...whole fruit and a glass of water! My kids eat fruit like it is going out of style...probably way over their recommended sugar intake, but I don't let it bother me, as they are also getting tons of fiber and vitamins.

I stopped drinking soda of any sort at the beginning of January and I feel sooo much better. That being said, everyone is different and I know mine was a real addiction. If you can enjoy it, regular or diet, but keep it under control, then I say go for it!
