I second runningwarehouse.com. I knew what shoes I wanted before visiting the web site and they had other color options in stock than my local running store. They shipped fast and were overall well priced.

Thank you everyone!

Amazing!!! Good for you, you look great!

Don't think about it yet! I am a C25K graduate (was never ever ever a runner) and remember getting nervous leading up to that day. It is a mind over matter thing, however, having said that, I did also repeat weeks when I felt like I was at my capacity until I was ready to move forward. It took me probably 10-12 weeks to be…

i am 5'5" and currently weigh 148. I would like to be 135-140.

I love it- I have never been a runner but I used the program and am now running 3-4 miles comfortably, and I love running now. It took me longer than the program suggests, but I modified and took longer rest days in between when I felt like I needed it. I ran my first 5K in 31:12 (which is believe is around 10…

Forgot to mention, add me if you want motivation, encouragement or tips!

Hi! I don't have any pictures, but wanted to share my success anyways for encouragement. I have never been a runner, but have always wanted to be one. I have started C25K multiple times in my life and for the first time, with patience, dedication and listening to my body I have been successful. I began the program in…

Congratulations! Good for you, keep up with the good work.

I can totally see where being on the receiving end of this conversation would be potentially hurtful, but I don't think you can turn a blind eye to it either. She does sound depressed, but I am speaking only as someone who has experienced mild depression myself sporadically. I agree to go at I from the health perspective,…

Thanks for the support, everyone! I dont do this very often...just made some bad choices and wanted to get it off my chest. I guess what I meant when I said "diet overhaul"" was that I was looking to pursue a more clean eating menu and was looking for suggestions. I'd like to eat less processed foods. I know this is a…

You look amazing! I am 6 1/2 months post baby and would kill for your figure!

You are amazing! What a transformation- congratulations!

I tried losing weight with eating only 1200 cals many times before and would have short-lived success. I'd lose initially but then would get frustrated when after the first few weeks I would stop losing (even when I was eating "perfect") and would give up. This time, I have played around with my numbers and am finding that…

I had the same issue- got a new strap and haven't had any more issues. Good luck!

I ran my first 5k today and blew my goal time of 35 minutes out of the water! Ran it in 31:12 which was a 10:02 mile pace and totally shocked myself!
-
Congratulations! That is amazing and so inspirational to me. I never thought I could be a runner, but after finding the right shoes and doing the c25k program I am running a 5k next weekend and am so psyched for it. I am also running the Falmouth Road Race (I live on the Cape) which is 7.1 miles in August. I have a goal to…

Good for you, you look great! I am in the same boat, had my daughter last Halloween and gained 40 lbs during my pregnancy. I am trying to lose that plus 15 lbs more for the summer so I can be bathing suit ready! I've got about 15-20 lbs to go to be at my goal weight. Keep up the hard work, it is paying off!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I no longer live in Boston (still a lifelong MA resident) but spent my college years and a few after there- have many friends and family still living in the city (all are ok) and it means so much to see the Worldwide support and love that our city have received. It is truly helping to heal…

I ran 3 miles comfortably at a 10 minute mile pace which I have never been able to do! Also fit into a pair of my pre pregnancy jeans that I thought I'd never get over my hips again!

I think it depends, but I just finished the program (ran my 3 miles today, it was awesome) and the scale has been going down. If it does go up, I would attribute it to muscle gain. Good luck with the program, it is totally doable and I am actually enjoying running now!

I wouldn't recommend lowering your calories, eating 1200 calories seems tough enough as it is, I have to believe you would be miserable and starving with anything less. I totally feel your frustration though, I stalled out a few weeks ago eating 1200 calories and upped my calories to 1450-1500 (netted) and have started to…

Love this post, I needed a good place to talk about how I am feeling! The last week I have felt awesome- totally in control and confident that I will each my goals. Today, I just feel so blah. This is normally the type f day that I would o home and eat or treat myself and order some kind of take out just so I could feel…

I would say, either freeze it or trash it. I personally would throw it away because I have zero will power and could easily convince myself that it wouldn't be a big deal to have a piece and then another, and another and then oops, the whole cake is gone, but I am one of those people that once I have sugar I instantly…

Think thin bars!!! 0 grams of sugar, 240 calories, 8 grams of fat and 20 grams of protein. Love Brownie Crunch, white chocolate and chunky peanut butter.

I am 5'5" and weigh 163 right now. I just had a baby and 140 is a comfortable weight for me, but I'd love to be 130-135 if I could. I'm going to go 10 lbs at a time and see how I feel. First goal is 150, then 140, the 130.

Incredible!!! You are amazing!

Thank you all so much for replying! Jen, I totally understand the frustration of the numbers on the scale refusing to budge, I KNOW that is one thing that can derail me but that's wonderful that you are seeing your body change, that means more than the number. I can also relate to having an issue with sugary drinks (sugar…
