I got mine from oldnavy.com, the Women's Plus category. They're comfy, IMO. I'm around 44DD, btw, and the XXL works for me.

I'm back down to 15 b/c I missed a day a couple weekends back, but I was up to 90 before that!

Thanks for all the advice, everyone! I am definitely planning on cutting back my daily calories since I won't be working out intensely for awhile, but you guys have definitely given me a lot of great ideas for exercises I can still do. Thanks so much!

Good joblosing 25 lbs! I was having doubts a while back, b/c I'd been working on losing weight since April and had only lost around 15 pounds, but then I saw a pic of me from March and a pic of me a few months later and saw the difference in my face, so it inspired me to keep working at it. I then lost 10 pounds in 6…

My expensive suggestion: You could buy a heart rate monitor that tracks calories burned as well, and then you'd see how many calories you're burning during your class. There are a lot of boards on which HRMs are good and how they work. My inexpensive suggestion: try this website: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc…

Well, it depends a little on how long you've been doing it and what your starting weight is, because it does take time to start losing weight, especially if you're not terribly overweight to begin with. There's also the possibility that you're not taking in enough calories, if your starting weight is a little higher...I…

I always try to save some calories for a post dinner snack/dessert. During the summer, I tend to have popsicles- I love Edy's Real Fruit bars, especially lime or pineapple, both of which are only 80 calories. Sometimes, in lieu of ice cream, I'll take the low fat whipped cream that comes in a container (not the spray kind)…

Well, first off, I of course recommend going to see a doctor. Maybe you really do have a fast metabolism, maybe there's some other reason. I'm not at all a medical person, I won't even begin to hypothesize on that. I think, though, regarding your BED that you should remind yourself of this the next time you're getting…

I feel the same way towards exercise as you do! the idea of going to the gym or lifting weights or using a treadmill bores me! I use walking. I, unfortunately, am allergic to a crazy amount of things in nature, so I usually will walk around Target or Best Buy or some store like that for a while- of course, some days I get…

Agreed! A pound is a pound, no matter what it's made of. Some materials are just denser than others!

Wow! Great job! You look amazing!

I skipped having the cornbread at Boston Market today, and actually got FULL without eating everything on my plate! Trust me, that is a big thing for me- I was definitely raised to "clean your plate", so stopping when I got full was a big thing for me!

Eurotrip.

Great job so far! Keep it up!

Good job! It's always nice to be able to fit into old clothing again!

Sounds yummy, and super simple to make!

Jennifer, no it wasn't directed at you. Well, the clinically depressed thing- I think that's a very big snap judgment based on this post, but you did continue on with good, helpful questions/comments. There are a handful of posts that don't really offer motivation or help, but just seem harsh towards the OP, IMO.

Can I please point out to a lot of people that ONE bad day, ONE day of lacking motivation and feeling down doesn't mean that someone isn't ready to have a surgery like this or is clinically depressed- it means they're having a bad day! How about showing some support instead of being so judgmental! Usually on boards on this…

Shanny, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I often stop and think, "If I'm already this tired of counting calories and watching what I eat and saying no to foods I love because they're high in calories/fat/cholesterol/whatever, how in the world can I keep this up for the rest of my life?" And it really is something that has to…

LOL! It is impressive how much food he can stuff down in one sitting! Scary, disturbing when you think how many calories and how much fat/cholesterol/sodium he intakes in some of those challenges, but it's impressive nontheless!

Agreed!

I'm single, and have been for quite some time. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm insecure and shy, which means it's hard for people to get to know me, and because once they do get to know me, they realize that I'm weird- "clinically quirky" is my favorite phrase for describing myself (stolen from "The Middle"). I'm also…

I dropped Weight Watchers after finding this site. A) This site is free. Weight Watchers is most definitely NOT! B) This has the food tracker, exercise tracker, you can set your own goals, etc.- all the stuff you can do in WW. C) The online community here is one of the best I've ever seen. People are truly supportive, and…

I treat my turkey dogs like regular hot dogs- little bit of ketchup and a little bit of relish. Yum yum.

I know exactly what you mean! It's like, I'm a big girl, I can control my calorie intake just fine. If I know what my limit is, what I've had to eat so far today, and what I'm eating for dinner, and I know this meal doesn't blow my day, why do you care if I'm eating it? And it would be one thing if they had a supportive…

I've never watched the show, but I saw a clip on The Soup- it makes me sick thinking that this show is exploiting these women (and that they're exploiting themselves). Clearly they have low self-esteem and confidence issues, because, at least the girls I saw on the clip, were already very pretty and didn't need any plastic…

Hey all! I also have 100+ pounds to lose. I don't have any kids though- I'm still basically a kid myself :( I completely agree with your outlook, Erica- for many overweight people, the challenge to live a healthier life is very similar to to the challenge of an alcoholic quitting drinking. It's hard, it's emotional, it…

Hello! I know what you mean about binging, but like Adriannz, I tended not to exercise after it. I'm trying to change that routine! So, I'm not from New Zealand, but I went there for holiday in May. I fell in love with it hardcore- it's so beautiful there! I especially loved the Queenstown area.

Fesse is right- they're probably just jealous that you're showing restraint and they don't feel they can do it to, or they're just feeling bad about themselves- guilty for eating food when you're not. I know how it can feels when people around me are eating healthy and I go ahead and splurge, and it's probably the same for…
