I turn 30 in 10 days (including today :) ). I'll be turning 30 at my lightest weight and wearing a size 12 dress to dinner :) Think of this as a way forward, a way to live, a healthy you. Stick to you, give yourself room to have times when you won't be on the line. Believe in yourself. Good luck - I know you can do it! Nyk…

I love swimming - always been a swimmer and swam a lot at the beginning of my weight loss journey.... However, recently I took my hrm swimming and was hugely surprised at the difference in calories burned from what I had been using via MFP! Nowhere near as many.... I can burn more running int he same period of time but I…

You have stolen my reply haha and my birthday is only a few weeks away (hey, encouragement to run on my birthday though eh?) I have the FT7 too.... the only pitfall and my own fault I should have looked into it more closely is that it doesn't have GPS so can't tell me how far I've run (I carry my phone and use the running…

Long run via new run route tomorrow morning then meeting a friend and her daughter (with my daughter) who we haven't seen for Aaaaggges for picnic and play in the park. Sunday - family day, long easy walk along Hampstead Heath and possible left over picnic from sat lol Enjoying the sun in London whilst it lasts :D

Gone from pushing a UK Size 24 to comfortably wearing a size 12.... of course it's possible, you just gotta work hard and be dedicated :) and no, I never thought I'd reach a size 12 either :)

Are you stretching after your workout? I know when I run I have to stretch after otherwise my muscles suffer... :)

Turning 30 in a few months (eek!)..... yes, 30 is going to be the year I'm a total sex bomb ;) haha

Although I was never one for the dodgems (I'm more of a waltzer kind of girl)... great NSV!!! I'll be taking my daughter to the theme park at Southend this summer without worrying about those dam safety bars :)

~What a great post! Congrats on your progress AND on finding what works for YOU. Keep it fun :) Nyk

I did 30DS twice (once without weights then a second time with weights). After a short break I then went on and did ripped in 30 and tbh I wasn't impressed. I did not get the continued results that I had seen from the 30DS and did not enjoy the workouts so much. I'm in the middle of a circuit challenge at the moment with…

Great motivation for you both! Well done :)

Don't let your friends lives fool you into thinking they are living a more "grown up" life :). I turn 30 in April, having been married for nearly 10 years and have an 8 year old daughter but I have VERY similar feelings to you. I think it's a number of things that have made me feel this way but one is maturing into the…

I've left half a krispy kreme donut on my desk for my daughter when she finishes school (I work in her school)..... it's staring at me right now.... we still have half an hour to go..... I may report back later to edit this post :D : D: D LOL

Definitely. Runs often turn my bad days into something a bit better. I can use the time to think things through, or completely ignore the world. Same when I swim :).

For the past 5 -6 years I've taken part in the Marie Curie Cancer Care Swimathon (individual 5K). Last year I got the kids from my school involved and we entered 10 teams of 5 swimming team 1.5K and raised almost £10000. We'll be doing this again this year I hope. In addition, now I am regularly running 5-10K I am thinking…

You look fantastic. Congratulations :)

Big congratulations, not only on the weight loss, but also on the full transformation. You have taken control of your life and are moving upwards. I did similar last year - but maybe not enough and definitely wish I had made the decision to do it all sooner. It takes a strong person to make the decision to change and act…

"Stuff I Wasn't Expecting This is EASY! Plateaus.... that is all. My *kitten* hurts. All... the... time.... I didn't have much of one before... and now... I'm sitting on bone. My wedding ring doesn't fit ANY of my fingers. My wife has since stopped wearing hers too. In NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM am I an inspiration... and yet,…

Brilliant. Congratulations :)

Well done :)

Fantastic work! Congrats :)

Thank you both! This is very helpful :) The whole reason I wanted the HRM was to get a more accurate number with regards to calories burned so I guess I won't worry about the rest. I just kept thinking if I run any slower to burn fat I won't be running at all! lol I'm looking forward to taking it swimming because I believe…

My sister in law asked me what size I am now as she reckoned I am into size 12 (UK). I'm a 14 but almost ready to try a size 12 but never thought of myself as "looking" a size 12!!! It just amazed me that she thought I "looked" so small..... I guess my mind is still catching up with my body :)

You should be happy and proud - congratulations :)
