  • I did the same thing when me and my boyfriend started practically living together It took me six months to learn to control what I was eating again. Now I eat basically what he does...but a lot smaller portions :) it works well...you just have to remind yourself that being healthy will be more worth it than an extra…
  • to belly breathe instead of expanding your chest and lifting your shoulders breathe the air into your stomach, it takes practice haha but you'll feel your belly expand and your diaphragm lift so you can breath in more air :) it is tricky to get but really useful once you do and it does become pretty natural
  • I always over-eat when I go home...it's really bad. I genuinely don't like bread, I rarely eat crisps and avoid chocolate...yet I went home for the weekend and ate all of it...in very large quantities I don't know whether it's stress or the sheer boredom of not being able to do everything I do while i'm at uni
  • I know quite a few slackliners :') my boyfriend got me on his once and now I'm hooked...got my own line yesterday. It's great for balance and really works your legs and core muscles, even your arms and shoulders if you're holding them higher to balance :)
  • I have lifted before and have been adding more weight while doing the shred dvd's However I hate the college fitness centre, in fact any fitness centre. I prefer to work out at home where I feel less self conscious and push myself further I never realised they were on youtube haha thanks for that :)
  • I'm from Huddersfield...feel free to add me too :) x
  • I did this with my boyfriend...he's always telling me about how good I look in my dresses...I still wear jeans on a night out
  • I started belly dancing a month before Christmas...before I started working out properly...went home for Christmas my sister did her usual trick of poking me in stomach.....but this time looked amazed and asked where the abs had some from :') It's great for improving your core muscles and posture :') and so much fun too…
  • Haha thanks for all the help :) good tips...yeah the title of six week six-pack is pretty deceiving then :') might give that one a try :) and christyrivers I will have to add that one to my list of things to buy, if you think it's really worth it :) x
  • And hello to all of you :) x
  • I have the depo provera injection and was warned that that could make me gain 10lbs in the first 3 month...i'm 1 and a half months in and actually lost 5 :') So no I don't think it does make you gain weight...just keep working out and eating properly and you'll do fine :)
  • I have Jillians workout DVD's :') even though she cant see you she doesn't half make you work :') As soon as you start getting tired she comes out with something else to motivate you :')
  • I'm from Huddersfield :) nice to meet you all :)
  • I feel like that :') I have to do something every morning just to start the day properly
  • It hurts for the first few days but really is worth it :') I completed that before Christmas and am doing ripped in 30 now didn't loose many pounds but did loose quite a few inches :) the pain is definitely worth it :)
  • I'm built curvy and love it...once I've got rid of the excess body-fat I will still be curvy, just like I was when I was swimming :') Feel very lucky :')
  • I loved Hunger Games, Love Jane Austin, Oscar Wilde, The millennium series is so good...couldn't put them down no-matter how disturbing they got....wow I've read so many good ones I could go on for ages. They have to be my favourites at the moment though. And I hated 50 Shades of Grey, part of my lit course is editing…
  • I have the depo shot and I haven't gained any weight yet...next ones due in 2 weeks so I'll have to see how it works long term but at the moment I haven't had any problems with it
  • I like this :') it's such a good saying x
  • Well done :D you look great...and the second half should be no problem :)
  • Hey I'm also a music student...but from England :) I used to swim...A LOT...and i need to find a stables to get back in the saddle while I'm at uni apart from that I dance, I do the 30 day shred (which you can find on youtube) I walk loads, I'm starting yoga....and I try to run too but in the winter as soon as I get…
  • You can do it :D Good Luck xx
  • I'm 5'5" Highest Weight was 144lb Current Weight is 140lb Goal Weight it probably around the 120 mark but I'm focusing on measurements more :)
  • I want to loose body fat and build my muscles back up. I haven't been on here for long so am looking for ways to make sure I keep coming back, and stay motivated...this group sounds like a good one :)
  • I was practising my baking skills for Christmas so me and my friend ended up sitting with 2 trays of flapjack and 2 of brownies...and ate them all we both felt so ill after...still no idea how we managed to do it :s I actually can't eat them now without feeling ill
  • yeah it's the same with my family...I'm away at uni so I'm just looking forward to going home and spending time with them...but they're still asking what I would like every few days. My Christmas list is time with my family and a few stress free days with my boyfriend who's having a pretty rough time
  • I asked the people below me what time they generally woke up..then I started doing exercise videos about an hour after that time :') as long as you make sure your not disturbing anyone it isn't a problem I do this because I don't like our gym :') bunch of sports nuts wondering why you're in 'their' space -.-
  • I am completely jealous of your job :o and I agree, I bet the people who complain about how you look don't have the guts, ability or strength and stamina it takes to do those things, You look great just ignore them and focus on what you want to look like, that's all that matters
  • I did dancing and gymnastics when I was little...it was only when I started uni that I realised how much I missed it :') I'm dancing twice a week now...it so much fun :D
  • Feel free to add me too...I'd also love to loose 5 pounds by the end of the year :)
